Here is another photo of our group, and this one has even got a picture of our group leader in it as well, we call him wattle.
Here we have two of our Cubs being awarded with their yellow cords which are the awards that they are given just before they go up to scouts. They would usually finished the gold boomerang badge by now and also attended a special camp to gain this award.
In the top photo, you can see one of the Cub Scouts being carried on a device that the Scouts created from some rope, and some pieces of wood for a link up ceremony. This is where Cub Scouts become Scouts. In the second photo, you can see the Scouts standing in a line, with the Patrol leader on the far left welcoming the Cub.
This photo shows the cubs and scouts participating in the Wollongong council 'Rise & Shine' Campaign cleaning up litter around and in Lake Illawarra at Kanahooka Point 2007.
