| The International Hormone Society is the fastest growing endocrine society in the world . With more than 2000 physician members worldwide in only the first year it is already the third biggest society of its kind in the world and well on its way to becoming the first . The International Hormone Society is fighting for better diagnosis and treatment of all hormonal dysfunctions . Traditional "endocrinology" , as many of us patients have experienced , is mainly about diabetes . How many "endocrinologists" are actually competent in ...... let's say only the treatment of hypothyroidism ? How many can treat adrenal fatigue ? To take just a few examples . And there is not only thyroid and cortisol in this world . If you do not feel the way you should , the answer may not be an increase or decrease of your thyroid hormone , but you may have a problem with growth hormone , or testosterone , or aldosterone , or .... , or .... ! Hormone dysfunctions can be detected and can be treated . All you need is the right doctor for it . He or she is not yet easy to find , but there will be more and more physicians competent in hormone therapy .
