Lisa is loud, loud and loud. She loves eating food, and thinks Ray is boring. Lisa loves to have fun, and runs her own company, "Fashions by Lisa"

Jackée Harry attended the High School of Music and Art. . She won an Emmy award for her role as the sexy wamp resident Sandra Clark on the comedy '227'.

Ray owns his own limousine service. He is sensible but often  boring. His wife Ellen died many years ago and he has trouble finding love.

Tim Reid made his acting debut in 'That's my Mama'. Reid has starred in eight other series in his 20 years of show business. Tim also enjoys working behind the camera.

Roger is Tia and Tamera's annoying neighbour. He flirts with everyone but no-one really likes him that much. He and the twins end up being really good friends.

Was Lisa's boyfriend for a while. They were going to marry but didn't. He was also Ray's friend, and worked at the Local Food Boy Supermarket.

Sahra is Tamera's best friend from before she knew Tia and all three girls were good friends. She was wild and up for anything. Sahra eventually just disappeared.

Rhonda is the school cow, very popular but very nasty. She hates Tia and Tamera and will do anything to make their lives miserable. She appeared in the earlier seasons.

Born 1979. Appeared in Save the Last Dance, Saved by the Belland Dawson's Creek. Also had many guest appearances, in shows like Steve Harvey Show, Smart Guy and Buffy

The twins boss at Rocket Burger. they don't like him much, and he is oblivious to the fact that nobody likes him (and that he doesn't smell too good)

Diavian is part of the new group of friends in the 5th Season. She appeared in an episode beforehand where she was friends with Rhonda Coley.

Born in 1983. Alexis has had a successful career in teen shows, including roles on The Secret World of Alex Mack, Kenan and Kel and Moesha.

Dot is also in the new group of friends that is formed after Season 4. She is secretly in love with Roger.

Tyreke is a guy from the wrong side of the tracks who works at Ray's garage. He is also Tia's steady boyfriend for much of the last two seasons.

Steven hangs around with Tia, Tamera and the rest of the group. he is Diavian's boyfriend. He isn't that intelligent and is a bit slow, but he fits in well.
