JULY 2, 2005 NORFOLK, VA - With the relaunching of the MSHL, the Tidewater Admirals have returned to the ice to complete the MSHL17 season. After a dismal showing for the first three quarters of the season, the Admirals will hunt down the Sacremento Sabrecats for the 4th place spot in the division. Currently, Tidewater is 3 points away in the division's cellar.
Also, coinciding with the return of the league, the Admirals front office revealed an alternate logo to be worn by the Admirals next season, commemorating the team's 10th season in the MSHL. The Admirals franchise was inactive in the 16th season, but returned in time for the 17th season, underway now. In that span, the Admirals have compiled a record of 177-351-58 and are yet to win the Locas Cup, despite making it to the semifinals, in MSHL 12. |
