Managing Director of Amiga Inc, Jeff Schindler Reassures Amiga Faithful

Amiga Flame is continuing to watch the latest developments happening at Amiga Inc, I can safely say that this is the most reassuring statement especially from Jeff Schindler.

For the first time Amiga Inc has directly referred to the development of the Amiga NG confirming their goal is to deliver "the NG Amiga soon". Jeff Schindler also comments on the development of OS3.5 confirming that development is continuing as they "are working very hard to complete the final phases of 3.5". Petro Tyschtschenko of Amiga International in his latest speech in Australia talked about the OS3.5 mentioning that there are 17 other developers as well as Haage and Partner working on it and it is hoped that they will have a beta ready for the St Louis Show in March. Petro Tyschtschenko also said that although he didn't know the CPU Amiga Inc was to use in the Amiga NG, he had been told by them that they would delay the decision to the last possible moment.

On another note Amiga International has received 5 containers of parts from Quick Pak and after a stock take and reaching an agreement with the liquidator they should have A4000T's available by February at a "reasonable price".
