What In The World Is Pokemon ?
In short, Pokemon is probably one of the greatest game-boy games ever created. I was created in Japan and in 18 months had alreday carved it's name in history there by becoming a 4 billion dollar industry. In Japan you can do your laundry with Pokemon detergent, you can go fishing with Pokemon lures, or get ready for school with your Pokemon school supplies. It's fun for all ages.

This hughly popular game recently came to U.S. shores on or about September 29. It generated amazing sales selling 2 million copies in only 2 weeks. There are two versions, a red version, and a blue version. The only difference between the 2 are the combination of monsters you can find. The plot of the story is that you are an 11 year old boy living in a world filled with mysterious creatures known as Pokemon (pronounced Po-kay-mon). Pokemon are creatures that you raise and train and collect. There are 150 types all with different skills and types (ex. fire, ice, ghost.) You can collect about 139 in your game, and you must trade with someone with another version to get the rest. You store information on each type in a miniture computer called a Pokedex. You start the game as a boy in Pallet Town, who has just gotten his Pokemon trainers licence. You also have a rival starting in the same town. He is Professer Oak's grandson. Professer Oak is the world's leading authority on Pokemon. He gives you your starting Pokemon. You have to choose between Charmander, the Fire Pokemon, Bulbasaur the Grass Pokemon, And Squirtle, the Water Pokemon. Choose wisley, who you pick will determine your collecting and battle strategy. What lies from then on ? Will you be the greatest trainer in the world ? Buy the game and determine your Pokemon future for yourself!
The amazing sales have prompted more versions to be released in Japan and the U.S. New versions are going to come out for the U.S. on or about sometime in April/May (or so i've heard.) Pokemon Stadium for N64 will be released in Japan first, and if popular will come to the U.S. It will be packaged with something called the 64GB. I hooks into the back of the controler (like a rumble pak.) It lets you trade between your game-boy cart, and 64 cart. That's all the info I can give!
