Well I might as well make a page for the English version ofCardcaptor Sakura. Cardcaptors is the American version of Card
Captor Sakura. It has been brought to WB Saturday mornings by
Nelvana. I read that Nelvana spent 100,000 dollars per episode
to edit and change vocal tracks, and music and other things.
That's a whole lotta money. Well, first of all, it didn't start
out as the first episode that Japan did. The first episode
we got here was the 8th episode that aired in Japan. Well, since
I've only seen the first episode of the English version, I'll
just show the differences and things like that. There is a new
opening song which is sung by some guy. There was also another
insert song that was in the episode when Sakura was roller-
blading to school sung by a girl. Now for the name changes:

Now the voices are different, they somewhat fit the part.
Sakura is okay. Kero doesn't sound as cute anymore :( Li kinda
sounds okay. Tori and Julian both sound sort of like their
character. Madison.. well this is the biggest change of all!
Tomoyo is a very quiet polite person. And well, Madison has got
a backbone. She even said, 'Whatever!' That's not the Tomoyo
we knew :( Oh well. And the animation is a bit different, the
cards look different. When Sakura used her card it did this
weird sound and that was different, it sounded like it came from
a game. The card animation looks really weird, and the Book of
Clow is computer animated. Well that's all for now, check back
