Well, any doubts you might have about this game I guarantee will be resolved by the time you finish viewing this page and its sub-pages which feature all the pictures that I've found of it. This game will literally redefine the term 2D! As always a simple click on the Yoshi on top will save you the time of hitting the <-. =The Story=
It just happened, one day on Yoshi's Island, while all of the Yoshies were out having fun and being happy, Baby Bowser came in and stole the Yoshies' Super Happy Tree! Not to mention, he also turned the entire island into a living pop-up picture book. Due to this, and the loss of the Super Happy Tree, all the adult Yoshies on the island become strickened with extreme sadness and depression. However, elsewhere on the island six eggs which, for some fortunate and bizarre reason weren't affected by the spell, were about to hatch. When the six new baby Yoshies emerged from their eggs and looked around, they saw that all of the other Yoshies on the island weren't happy and devoid of life. They frantically worked on a way to make everyone happy again and eventually decided that if they ate fruit that made them happy, their happiness would perhaps break the spell on the island and make everyone else happy too. So the six baby Yoshies begin to set out on a quest for happiness through, their now, picture book world.

Misc. Notes:
Yoshi's Story is the N64 sequel to the popular SNES classic, Yoshi's Island. In Yoshi's Story you can control any of six differently colored baby Yoshies which each has a different taste preference for fruit and enemies. This game features about the same mechanics as Yoshi's Island, except that you now will use the analog stick for movement and to fire off your eggs. Also you can still perform midair flight by holding in the jump button. In Yoshi's Story your goal in each level is to eat 30 fruits. This can either be an easy or difficult task, depending on how high a score you want and if you want a different ending by just eating honeydew melons. As well, you now actually have a life bar of sorts which is represented by a flower. When you start a level, you start out with one petal on the flower, but you can quickly fill it by eating fruits and enemies which your Yoshi likes. You lose petals if you eat a food Yoshi doesn't like, or you are damaged by an enemy. If the flower has no petals a blue frown will appear which is your warning that one more hit will finish you. As well, while the blue frown is showing the music will greatly slow down to emphasize your Yoshi's unhappiness. Also in Yoshi's Story, you can only play six levels a game. Though, the game isn't as easy as it sounds or is said to be. To open up all the levels in the game, you must first find a heart, for each heart you find you will have another choice in the next level you goto. If you find all 3 in a level, you'll be able to choose any of the levels on the next page. All in all, Yoshi's Story is a very good game that is sadly overly bashed due to its extreme cuteness and easiness. Though, the easiness is only if you decide to eat every fruit in sight, opt not to find any of the hearts, and overall just burn through the easy *-1 levels. If you are a real explorative player who enjoys trying new things each time you play, this game will keep you amused for quite a long time.
Secrets N' Tricks
(Below are the things I found while playing the game, the below is mainly here simply for you if you are frustrated and can't find something)
The Black Yoshi egg can be found hiding in Level 2-4, the TORRENTIAL MAZE. His egg is hidden past the yellow Miss Warp after the long series of vines with the Vine Slimes on them.
The Black Egg is also finadable in Level 2-1, the BONE DRAGON PIT. To find the exotic egg, simply get to the area where you can eat the Turbo Tulips. This area is slightly below the area where the up and down platforms that emerge from jars can be found. To get the egg, GoTo the last Turbo Tulip on the left side and launch straight up, if you catch yerself right, you'll be near a platform at the top with a "?" bubble. Burst the bubble to get yerself the Black Yoshi egg.
The White Yoshi can be located in two places as well. You can find him in level 3-2, The Tall Tall Tower. After going into the 1st Vase, rather than using the leaf, proceed to the bottom left hand corner to find the egg. <You should see some stairs in this area>. This location was discovered by Matthew R.
You can also get a White Egg in level 3-3, Poochy and Nippy. There are 2 vases at the end of each segment. Go to the opposite of the one Poochy is around and you'll be with the Black Shyguy. Avoid him and reach the vases there. Go to the top one. You'll see Poochy on another area next to a red pipe. Go forward and you'll see some pipes. Go down the red one to end up in a cave with a ? bubble. Pop it and a White Yoshi egg will pop out. This location was told more precisely to you by Michael Singer.
This isn't really a trick, but on any Storybook page, you can zoom in and out by pressing the R and Z buttons. It doesn't do much of anything else, but it is fun and allows you to see the beautiful graphics from afar or up close.

In Each level there is a letter formed out of coins. Thanks to many of you out there we have been able to figure out the entire message! All the letters are placed in their appropriate slots, in case you would like to do some double-checking to make sure this is correct. Once again thanx to everyone who contributed to figuring out this puzzle.
