The greatest Bond villains

Klaus Maria Brandauer as Emilio Largo
Though initially I didn't like him cos he had such a jerkish attitude throughout the movie, later on I've learned to appreciate his performance. As many other villains who will follow, he too is charismatic and he's a good match to Sean Connery-at-age in "Never Say Never Again".
Gert Frobe as Auric Goldfinger
One of the few 'things' I like about the 60s Bond movies. He's such a convincing realistic villain in "Goldfinger". He's a very distinguished and charming guy actually, only at the end he gets cruel so you don't feel sorry he dies... What's so impressive is that this German actor didn't know how to speak English, so he got dubbed all over the movie - and if you don't know this, you don't even see it!!!
Christopher Lee as Francisco Scaramanga
A touch challenge for Christopher Walken when it comes down to charisma. Better known as "The Man With The Golden Gun" in the same-named movie, it's just a shame he finds his death in a silly way (when getting shot in the head all of a sudden). His great performance saved the otherwise shallow movie!
Telly Savalas as Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Unfortunately he played SPECTRE main man Blofeld only once (in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service) - he's the best at it. Ian Flemming pictured Blofeld kind of as a freak while Telly puts down the total opposite - this Blofeld claims he has royal blood! Officially Blofeld is the only bad guy who gets away unharmed at the end any Bond movie, although at the beginning of "For Your Eyes Only" a look-alike gets assasinned by Bond himself - never got the point of that part, though.
Robert Shaw as Donald 'Red' Grant
Another one who lightens up the dark 60s ages (this time in "From Russia With Love"). Probably the most intelligent and well-trained of all villains - the toughest guy Bond ever had to fight face-to-face (except from Jaws, but he doesn't count cos he cheats, having iron teeth!). Robert shows the most charming men make the greatest villains.
Christopher Walken as Max Zorin
Well, he's my all-time favourite actor so I couldn't leave him out! He's the freakiest villain, being a psychopath, having a weird but deadly sense of humour. When he appearance he sucks away everyone else on the stage - he's the centre-point of the movie! He too is charming, up to a point very nice even - I feel sorry he had to die (it was the first Walken-movie I saw in which he died. :(
