Hartbreak Films - Melissa Joan Hart and Paula Hart

Hartbreak Films is the studio that is owned by Melissa Joan Hart and her mother Paula Hart. It is located in Los Angeles, CA, and they mainly make shows for young people. They filmed the Disney specials Atlantis. Others include Silencing Mary, Sabrina, The Batchelor and the Bobby-Soxer Two Came Back, and Backflash Blues.

It is run jointly by Paula Hart and Melissa Joan Hart with help from other relatives. It is mainly involved with childrens's programming, but not entirely. Melissa's Wedding in Florence Italy, was dome by Hartbreak as well as the Sabrina Animated Show and the Shirley Temple Movie. The studio has agreements with Viacom and recently signed a deal for Sabrina reruns to be on the Nickelodeon Channel.

The main significance of the studio is that it was created by the youngest important Hollywood studio owner in history, Melissa Joan Hart. Will she be the next George Lucas? Time will tell.

Rumour says that there is no permanent Hartbreak Films office, it is run out of Paula Hart's house. The address is at Paramount. Another rumour says that the office is located on the Paramount lot with a bunch of other little companies. Hartbreak Films does work for Paramount.
