Ideal started with the Teddy Bear, and is still in business today. Their figures were mainly from the Fifties and Sixties, first made in vinyl and later in soft plastic. Some of their figures have been reissued (or recast?) in harder styrene plastic recently. The detail level is high, and the reissues are fun to paint.
