1 June, 1945: A second battalion '1st Canadian Infantry Battalion (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry) raised for the C.A.P.F.
2 September, 1945: The second battalion renamed '2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry'.
1 March, 1946: The active battalion is disbanded.
1 March, 1946: The '2nd Battalion' was dropped from the second battalion.
