Scouting: Hard working kid. Has a long stride with average speed. Good nose for the net goes to it on almost every play. Causes some havoc in front of the net with his size/strength combo. Has a nice pass and sees the ice well. hard wristshot. Always working hard throwing his weight around, solid hitter. Battles hard in the corners, is very strong on the puck, decent puckhandler, has a very long reach. Good hockey sense and defensive awareness. Always working in his own zone, ties up his man well, keeps a good position. If he could work on his speed could turn out to be a solid pospect. Should be drafted anywhere between second and third rounds. |
