On February 15, 2003, I went to the "I Love Lucy®" 50th Anniversary Tour at Harrah's Rincon Casino in Valley Center, CA for Valentine's Day with my now EX-boyfriend. Admission was free; that was the only gift he gave me (he didn't even get me a card)...and the whole thing was my idea. So, basically he had to put absolutely no thought into Valentine's Day. I guess that should have been a clue as to what kind of a guy he was. Oh well, better late than never. Anyway, it was a pretty nice exhibit, but not as big as I expected. The gift shop was a huge disappointment! The exhibit itself had a few fun attractions. There was an interactive "Job Switching" game. The stage was divided into two sections--each containing a conveyor belt for the chocolate factory scene from the Job Switching episode. Each team had two players. When the game began the fake chocolates began coming across the conveyor belt at a slow pace and steadily sped up until they were ungrabable. The object of the game was to see which couple could grab the most chocolates from the conveyor belt. Additionally, there was a stage set up for the "Lucy Does a TV Commercial" episode.
