About tinmoorthy:

(The author introduces herself/himself as...) A software engineer by profession Tinmoorthy does not live in NJ. CEO of an IT company, he is currently immersed in an interesting mess trying to carve out an effective role for the Portals.

His first passion is software. He was required to invent the Dynamic STD Password for the telephones at a time when there were no computers in the land. His second passion is music. He attempted to parse music being convinced music is a language with discernible syntax. While others chose to play a violin, tabla or a tambur -- he chose to play a computer at the Music Academy. The reception he got at the Academy is responsible for this third incarnation, a writer.

He wrote on the wall, wrote haiku and lately IOUs. He always maintained, "if it is -- write you must, do write well". So he painstakingly copied the works of Shakespeare.

He always wrote with the hand. Had he used a fountain pen he would, perhaps have been legible. Unable to swipe a fountain pen (they are so rare, you see), he now dictates to a computer to give expression to his musings (You now know who to blame for the spelling and the grammar violations).

He is a contributing author to many regional and national papers. However his impressions carried often on the edit page of a Hindu Daily with a dash of humor are most satisfying -- according to him.

tinmoorthy also advised the national Telecom Commission.

tinmoorthy is based in Delhi. His work takes him often to Bombay, Boston, Bangarapet and Basavangudi, in that order! He is currently traceable at Venkatala (about 2400 Kms south of Delhi) with his pet virus Gibrella Histolytica and entertains visitors on the seventeenth if it is not a working day, Saturday or a Sunday. He loves to receive mail
