The Ski-Doo MXZ

I know, I know, what's newer iron doing on this site? Well, I've been thinking of getting a few newer sleds for a while mostly to use for longer rides. Kinda hard to venture far from home or the trailer with the small gas tanks that are on my vintage sleds. I also want to preserve these beauties for others to see. Don't get me wrong, they are not just gonna sit on a shelf or something. I plan on riding them just not as much. I also would like to get my wife more into sledding. Of course my sled of choice for me would have to be the MXZ and especially the MXZx with that 440 mill or a Signature Series MXZ 670 HO.

Well, as luck would have it a very good friend of mine had a 97 MXZx 440 racer for sale and offered it to me. Naturally I couldn't resist the offer and I'm now the proud owner of it. The sled only had 621 miles on it and was in extemely good condition. Never snow crossed and used very little. I hope to have another MXZ sometime before next winter for my wife and son.

I recently found a 99 MXZ 440 F/C in excellant condition and have added it to the stable. I'm planning on clutching it and adding 96 studs. Also adding a ETS rear suspension kit. Now the only thing missing now is the HO.
