Stockholm was a beautiful trip! It was cold and sometimes snowy, but I think that added to the beauty, and we did get a fair amount of sunshine too. We took the bus there, which took about 7 hours (but it went by pretty fast). When we got there we checked into our hostel, which was on a boat! Then we went out and explored the city, had dinner at a Mongolian Restaurant, and enjoyed some of the nightlife.
The next day we toured the Vasa Museum, which is built around a 333 year old Swedish warship. It was intriguing, but my pictures didn't come out. We enjoyed more nightlife Saturday, and then got up early Sunday and went to Skansen (an outdoor museum) where I got to touch a moose! After that, we went to City Hall, where the Nobel Prize banqeut and reception is hosted. The interior of the building was gorgeous, but again my pictures didn't come out.
