Hófí you know I loved you dearly It´s impossible to believe you´re gone For so many years our lives were intertwined I could read your mind and you certainly could mine Even though I learned alot at your expense My mistakes you always overlooked You came and literally dried my tears Anytime I was lonely or sad Knowing it always helped just to have you near Often regretting my own decisions But you had a nature so forgiving Knowing I did the very best I could Through memories you are still living I had really planned on being selfish Keeping you close to me always Stress of the trip would have been too much for you In the end my love was greater Leaving you behind was the hardest thing to do You did finally get the life you deserved Filled with peace, happiness and freedom With a loving person that saw your worth Selfish again, I wish you hadn´t left so soon Your daughter Frigg has your understanding Your character and loving nature She´s with me now drying the tears I´m crying Dear Hófí is that YOU still with me in her? |
