| Field trial news!!! September 21st 2003 Wonderful news our little Káta got a 1.prize at the field trial making our field trial history for this litter exceptional. 7 out of 8 puppies (were 9 but unfortunately 1 puppy, Benni is no longer among us) have taken part in field trials and 4 have prizes so far. Kombination Water Trial N Uch IS Ch Veidinn's Frv Valdis Vikingafru competed in the Open Class without a prize because of the Tracking part. Töfra dogs that competed in this trial with exceptional work were: Ptarmigan´s Terror 1.prize Swan Dive Doppa 1.prize All breed show, June 27-29th 2003, Kópavogur Four of our puppies were at the show in the Young dogs class (9-15 months). Töfra dogs this time were 3 GSP and 1 ISD: Duck Out of Luck Nero 1.prize, 3 place - Young male class Raven Lunatic Rufus 1.prize, 5 place - Young male class Grouse Look Out Hetta 1.prize, 1 place - Young female class, She also got an honour prize , 2.place in Winner´s class a Champion Quality ribbon and 3rd Best female Hrafnaflóki 1.prize, 1 place - Young male class, He also got an honour prize, 2 place Winner´s class a Champion Quality ribbon and 3rd Best male Field trial news!!! April 2003 N Uch IS Ch Veidinn's Frv Valdis Vikingafru competed in the Open Class and got a very impressive 1.prize Töfra dogs that competed in this trial were: Duck Out of Luck Nero 1.prize Best Young dog of the Trial Quail Magnet 2.prize (only needed to flush a bird to receive 1.prize) Grouse Look Out Hetta 2.prize (only needed to flush a bird to receive 1.prize) Ptarmigan´s Terror (was doing exceptional work, but needed the bird) Wonderful news from the field trial March 29th. Four of our puppies competed at the very young age of 1 year old. They all showed wonderful instincts and hunting skill and Nero actually received a trophy as the Best Young dog of the Trial. A total of 10 dogs competed thereof 7 GSP´s and 3 English Setters Töfra dogs were: Duck Out of Luck Nero Best young dog of the Trial Grouse Look Out Hetta a very close second place Goose Stalker Hera Raven Lunatic Rufus Iceland has 3 shows a year and often a yearly specialty show. Results: 1.place Champion Class, Champion Quality, Best bitch, Cacib, Best of Opposite Sex Three of our puppies were also at the show and they all received a 1.prize in the Young dogs class (9-15 months). Anderson (has judged the Iceland dog in Iceland before) Critique: Beautifully proportioned. Excellent coat and head. Beautiful movement, neck, tail. Excellent condition. Looks like she had babies. Results: 1.place Champion Class, Champion Quality, 2 best bitch overall, Reserve Cacib 1.prize Veteran Class, 1.place, Champion Quality, Best Veteran, 3rd place Best Veteran in Show Töfra-Ptarmigan´s Terror competed in her very first dogshow. She was shown in the Puppy Class Judge: Carl-Johan Adlercreutz, Sweden Critique: Tilrekkelig utviklat valp - ganska højställt och kort. Bra benstomme och vinklar. Bra tassar. Behøver utviklas. Drager opp ryggen i rørelser. Results: 2.place Best bitch in Puppy Class Veidinn's Frv Valdis Vikingafru competed in the Open Class Judge: Carl-Johan Adlercreutz, Sweden Critique: Mycket god type. Lite höj ställt. Bra hoved, hals, overlinje. Bra forbryst, benstamme og vinklar. Bra føtter. Bra pels. Mycket tiltalende tik. Rør seg lett og bra..
