Welcome to the Official Ninja High School©
OVA support page!
Have you ever read your beloved NHS comics and asked yourself,
"When are they going to make an Anime out of this?"
If you have then, this message is for
you.
[Ninja High School main cast: Asrial, Ichi, and
Jeremy]
American Animé has the opportunity to produce
an OVA (Origional Video Animation) of the popular Ninja High School©
comic series by Ben Dunn.
This is a wonderful breakthrough for us Otaku and NHS fans out
there. If it is successful, this Anime will be the first
of it's kind produced in the US. Drawn, directed, and produced by
loyal fans of Ninja High. This may be one of the starting points in changing
the way Anime is viewed here in the US. Moving it away from company control,
and bringing it more in the control of the fans. What we want to see, how
we want to see it.

Can you imagine it? Anime for fans, by fans.
Now as the Net.Otaku out there already know, the fan base here in the
US really can make a difference. We saw the revival of the North American
Sailor Moon due to the outstanding efforts of the S.O.S.
project.
Now we are asking for that kind of fan support again. You can do your
part by telling other people about this, spreading the word around to all
the otaku out there of this project.
If you live in the Bay Area of California you can even help us directly
by joining our staff of volunteers at American Animé located in
Redwood city. We are always looking for help.
Have you ever thought to yourself, "Boy,
I could draw better than that," or "I
always wished I could be part the production of some Anime,"
or "I wish I could make a difference."
Well now you can.

Now even if you don't live in California or the Bay Area, you
can still help. In fact, it is one of the most important things that needs
to be done. If you want to see this happen we need you to please voice
your opinions to Ben Dunn and/or
Antartic Press. Tell them you would like to see this OVA produced
or that you want an Anime made out of one of their comics. This will greatly
strengthen our chances of securing this deal.
Unless Ben Dunn releases his rights to Ninja High School©
for the project, it will not become a reality.
Here's a section of the Antartic Press FAQ on
the Antartic Press homepage you might find interesting...
4.2 Is there a Ninja High School cartoon?
Several years ago, there was some talk of Ninja High School appearing
as an animated cartoon or feature. Right now, plans for animating NHS (or
any other Antarctic Press property) is on the back-burner, so I would not
expect an animated NHS any time within the near future. However, it has
always been a goal for Ben Dunn to open up a small animation studio, so
it will probably happen *sometime*.
Strangely enough, there is a greater chance of Ninja High School being
made into a live-action feature at this time. There is some interest in
Hollywood for a live-action NHS movie. Stay tuned.
Let's change that.
This is the perfect opportunity to let Antartic Press know
that us, the fans, don't want to wait for them to decide if they're going
to do one or not. Let us change the *sometime* to *NOW*.
Ultimately the choice is in your hands.
"Gee, I'd really like to help, but
I don't know how to contact Ben Dunn or Antartic Press."
That's fine. Here's a couple addresses that you may find usefull:
E-mail Antartic Press: webmast@antarctic-press.com

Thank you for listening to this message and I hope that more
people or organizations out there strive to take action when it comes to
the Anime they love. It's only with effort that anything gets acomplished.
