81 hostages have been held captive on Alcatraz by a team of Marines led by General Frank Hummel, in a quest to give back pride to those families whose loved ones were left in Vietnam and Desert Storm. Four VX poison gas rockets are aimed straight at San Fransisco, each one able to kill 70-80,000 civilians. The demands: A million dollars to each of the marines and a million to each of the families who lost members of their family of no purpose. The pressure is on, and only John Patrick Mason, (once a captive at Alcatraz, and managed to escape) and FBI agent Stanley Goodspeed (chemical expert) can save the city. A truly exciting film with tonnes of action, and excellent music to it.
