Although the SNES is way obsolete, its games can still fascinate me. In my opinion, the games for SNES are more original and more playable than many games on the current consoles.
For those who don't own a SNES and those who don't want to spend money on games, there's good solution: emulation. Many, many games are hacked, and using an emulator, you can play the games on your own PC. You don't need an extremely fast system for this, a P133 is sufficient to play the games, though faster machines can handle higher resolutions and higher color depths. Another advantage of emulation is that you can get games that never have been released in Europe/US.
First of all, you need an emulator. There are many versions of Snes9x, but this emulator doesn't run all games perfectly. In my opinion Zsnes is the best: it never fails to read a rom as far as I know. An advantage of Snes9x might be the 3d-card support and the more "natural" sound. Then you'll need the rom of the game you want. Use a search engine to find the rom, using a string with the name of the game, "snes" and "rom" in it. I won't give you links to sites, since most sites are crap and offer only a few roms plus lots of broken links.
Of course you can find some roms here too. Due to limited bandwidth I can only upload a few roms a time, so this list is still growing! Click a filename to download a rom.
Note: Roms marked with "P" will be downloaded from Perikles' Kickin' Homepage, this is the site of a friend of mine whom I'm sharing space with. If one of those roms doesn't work/is missing you've gotta ask him instead of me. You've gotta see his page if you like soccer and you can find some more roms there as well.
