mYsTiK: Genbu, Genbu no Miko, and the Genbu seishi don't play a very big part in Fushigi Yuugi, but they're still cool! Genbu is god of Hokkan country, which is north of Konan. Genbu is characterized by a turtle mating with a snake??? And he controls the element water, the season winter, and guards the north constellations, which include Capricorn, Sagittarius, Pegasus and Aquarius. Genbu is also god of military strategy. Here's a picture of him. Genbu no Miko summoned Genbu about two hundred years before Miaka arrived, which means she, and her seishi, are long dead.
