feet, and minor exhausts in all limbs and the main body. The IVCS is fed
from the main engines.

VI. Sensory Systems:
Radar tracking:
- Hyzan IFF UWB phased array with spherical coverage, for various
scan/track, battlefield surveillance and counterbattery options.
- Hyzan IFF secondary surveillance transponder
Optical tracking:
- Bardaz multi-band digital camera system, for short range
traversable UV, infra-red imaging and optical band detection and tracking;
- Bardaz multi-frequency laser ranger and designator.
Tactical Electronic Warfare System (TEWS):
- Hyzan Radar Warning Receiver (RWR)
- Hyzan Infra-red Warning Receiver (IRWR)
- Y'terk Active sensor jammer
- Chaff and flare dispenser
VII. Armament:
Cannon:
- 2 x Makral Mossil-43 plasma cannons: Located on the either shoulder with a traverse
of 75 degrees and elevation of -35 to 75 degrees. The cannon can fire a
plasma beam with a yield of 85 MJ every five seconds; or a 10.2 MJ beam
every second.
- 6 x Makharz Vawnous-18 particle beam/pulse cannons:
Mounted in two clusters of three cannons,
one in each arm hidden behind an armor plate rising only when firing.
In pulse mode, each cannon fired particles discs ('annihilation discs') at
4000 m/s to a maximum effective range of 8 km. In beam mode, each cannon
fired a particle beam. Typically, the cannons fired in series when in beam
mode and in parallel when in pulse mode. In both modes the yield of each
cannon was 5.2 MJ per second.
- 2 x Makharz Vawnous-5 55mm autocannons: Mounted on
the torso of the mecha, each firing at
800 rounds per minute, and each cannon has a 480 round belt feed.
Ammunition is a mix of Tungsten-coated depleted Uranium Armor Piercing
Spin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot (APSSDS), High Explosive Armor Piercing
(HEAP) and tracer rounds.
Melee Weapon:
- 2 x Iledran-3 .40 MW tachyon saber: Mounted on quick release racks
in the power armor's wrist, the beam
sabers can be drawn and activated within 0.24 seconds by an experienced
pilot. This beam saber contains enough energy and tachyons for about
60 seconds of continuous use. When not in use, the beam sabers are stored
in the wrists, where they are recharged by the
reactor. The sabers can be switched on and off while holding it, in order to
conserve power. Once totally depleted it takes 25 minute for a beam saber to
recharge to full capacity.
Missile Launcher:
- 2 x Z'tral Wuxert-8 missile launchers in the hips. The circular launcher for ZRA-2 Ilari
had 21missiles in launch position, and no reloads for a total of 42
missiles.
- 2 x Z'tral Wuxert-7 missile launchers in the shoulders. The circular launcher for ZRA-2 Ilari
had 21 missiles in launch position, and 21 reload missiles stored
behind these for a total of 84 missiles.
VIII. Armor:
The armor on the Quadlum Quiltra is a low-mass tungsten
composite plating that is the standard for most Zentraedi mecha. Aside from the
fair protection provided against projectiles, missiles, and other kinetic
weapons, this armor is also has limited resistance to plasma globes (annihilation discs),
lasers, and fair against, particle guns too, owing to the fact that the armor
can flake off and evaporate in layers under fire from such high-energy weapons,
taking much of the weapon's energy and converting it into the latent heat of
sublimation in the armor. The armor stops all small arms fire, and has fair resistance to all weapons commonly mounted on combat mecha.
The Quadlum Quiltra provided full protection from
nuclear, biological, and chemical hazards, using a sealed cockpit environment.
The internal consumables supplies could provide breathable atmosphere for four
days maximum.
