Serenity. To accept that can't be changed - to change that can't be accepted.

God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
courage to change the things
which should be changed, and
the wisdom to distinguish one from the other

-- Reinhold Niebuhr

And Acceptance is the answer to all my problems
today... I can find no serenity until I Accept that person, place, thing, or
situations being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.

"When we saw others solve their problems by a simple reliance upon the Spirit of the Universe, we had to stop doubting the power of God.  Our ideas did not work.  But the God idea did."

"Selfishness--self-centeredness!
That, we think, is the root of our troubles.  Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking & self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate."

"Next, we decided that hereafter in this drama of life, God was going to be our Director.  He is the Principal; we are His agents.  He is the Father and we are His children."

"When a person offended we said to ourselves, 'This is a sick man.  How can I be helpful to him?  God save me from being angry.  Thy will be done.' "
