This page is dedicated to my alias "Amuro Rei". I've provided some infos about me in a second page. You can find my personal data using this link or the button bar at the left side of this document (for frame enabled browsers).

After several years (shame on me) I've eventually updated this page. The main addition is a page dedicated to Utena. I'm still working on it, but I hope you'll like it.

I've also slightly updated the left sided navigation bar with a new lighter script that will behave exactly as before but is faster and will be more easy to update.

This is what I call a site! Complete, informative, exhaustive. I could spend nights surfing this site, too bad for the phone bill! It's done exactly the way I like the informations to be displayed. A real electronic book.

Ehm... I forgot to tell you that I like Japanese animation? ;-)

From where come the AMURO REI nickname?

This is Amuro Rei. He is one of the main characters in the japanese animated serie GUNDAM. Really he is the pilot of the Gundam itself, so he should be considered the main character, but in the plot of this animation there are so many characters and so many twist that it would be a bit restrictive. There are also a lot of other series, movies, novels and so on that, though taking place in the Gundam World, don't feature this character. But I like him, since the first TV show, so I named myself after him.

An other character usually associated with the Gundam World is Char Aznable, Amuro's arch-fiend. He is the " bad guy " in this anime, but it's only a face. He have an interesting background (somehow deeper than Amuro's) and a personal story. He is also capable of feelings. Look at this " Crying Char " picture taken from the ending part of the first TV show, where his beloved Lara dies. (Well, Lara was also Amuro's beloved, as I told you Gundam has a lot of plot twist...)

A little note: you may find different notation for the above names, like Amuro Ray, Sha Aznable or Lalah. This is due to the way japanese write names in their alphabet. It's a phonetic alphabet so there is not an " official " way to translate a name, but several ways to obtain the nearest pronunciation of it. Here I used the one I'm more accustomed to.
