This is a non-profit site designed to encourage the creative process of making fan music videos. No copyright infringement is intended.

Rules

1. Subject to the following list, all TV and/or movie vids are accepted, including AMVs, trailers, actor appreciation vids and vids using original music video footage.

Please note, however, that it may be substantially harder for certain types of vids to be an accurate reflection of your editing skills, and trailers/actor appreciation type vids in particular may be difficult to fit into any of the award categories.

What we will not accept
We would like to stay unspoiled for certain shows/films, so before we get a chance to see them, we would like to ask that you hold off submitting videos on the following subjects. This list will be updated regularly and whenever changes are made, a note will also be posted on the front page of the site.
- 24 vids containing season 5 footage.

2. The video you enter must be your own, and a vidder may only enter ONE video per round. This eliminates the possibility of competing against yourself in certain categories.

3. You may not enter the same video in more than one round.

4. We don't mind strong language and/or nudity, but please give clear warnings in your video description.

5. We accept the following file types, zipped or unzipped: WMV, Real Media, AVI, Quicktime, MPEG-1, MP4.

Please note that we can't take screencaps of Real Media files, so if your RM-format vid wins an award, unlike winning vids in other formats, the award graphic will not be capped from your video itself.

6. Please keep file sizes to 30MB or less. If your vid is a few megs over, don't worry about it, but we won't accept any entry that is significantly over the size limit. Smaller screen size/bitrate will not affect our judging.

7. We can't accept Megaupload or Sendspace links because of connection problems. Sorry about the inconvenience. You may use any other file hosting site to submit your video, as long as we can download it: online streaming videos (e.g. putfile.com, zippyvideos.com) are not accepted.

8. If you have your own site, please link back to us.

9. If we discover clip theft, the vid will be disqualified and we will no longer accept your entries in later rounds. In cases of doubt, as a matter of policy we will ask the vidder for written confirmation that s/he has used original footage.

10. The decisions of the judges are final. Any form of artistic judgment is always going to be an exercise in subjectivity, we make no pretences about that, but we'll try our damned hardest to be impartial. We're here to encourage serious vidders and promote mature competition with a set of defined criteria. If you can't handle the potential cruelty of this situation, then please don't enter. There are plenty of other vidding awards sites where you can win something much more easily.
