Thomas M. Ray:

In my "Day Job" I am currently employed as an Environmental Scientist. I hold a BS and MS degree in Geology. I am also an artist and former president of the Biloxi (Mississippi) Art Association, and I am a charter member of Crystal Spring's(MS) Chautaqua Players theatre group.

I have been writing and teaching myself to write Sci - Fi and Action / adventure type stories for over twenty years, and if I say so myself, am quite good at it.

My background in Science, Physics, Psychology, History, Ancient Legends and The Paranormal provide me with unusual and intriguing sources of original, "high concept" ideas.

I decided to start writing screenplays in 1999 as I like the format and the challenge such work presents.

I've completed my first two Screenplays in 2001, and have since finished several more. Four more works are in progress. Already I have received many requests from producers to send them scripts. (Even my first Script recieved several requests.)

At present I am the Key Writer and Script Co-ordinator for the upcoming Sci fi TV series OUTPOST LACXONTON. The Pilot will Be shot January 2004 at Screen Gems Studios at Wilmington, North Carolina.
