Genealogy Report of the Kasberg Family

The name Kaesberg was originally spelled Kasberg in Germany. Simon and Katharina Hannapel were married in Bendorf-Sayn, near Koblenz Germany.

Simon and Katharina had a son Wilhelm Kaesberg born 1817, who married Katharina Schenck. He brought his family to USA about 1852 They eventually moved to Illinois.

Wilhelm and Katharina had 8 children (4 daughters and 4 sons)

Frederich Adolph Kaesberg born June 25, 1850 in Germany died April 15, 1899 in New Athens, Illinois. He and his brother, Matthias, married sisters  Maria Barbara and Katharina Pauline Dinges. Frederich&amp Kaesberg and Maria had 5 children  Emelia, William,Frank, Pauline and Charles. All settled in Illinois.  I have information on all of them.

Wilhelm Kasberg and his wife Katharina Schenck left two children in Indiana : Simon, called Peter and Johann, called John. They kept the name of Kasberg.; I have not been able to get any information on them. I have information on all of Frederich Adolph's descendants; and all the descendants of Matthias and Katharina Pauline and also on their sister,Anne Maria Elisabeth Waeltz. I will be glad to exchange any information with anyone that is interested
