LOT'S OF STUFF TO SAY!
First our show next weekend in Linn Creek is going to be rescheduled for a later date. When that is I don't know yet but will post it as soon as we get one. However we have been added to the next metalfest at Viele's Planet in September. Check out the shows page for details.
The new demo is finished! All the recordings and mastering is done! All there is left to do now is the artwork and then figure out where to duplicate the damn thing. The title of the demo will be called "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS". I find it fitting myself. The songs sound great and was recorded and mixed in good hands.
We were played on WQNA last Monday night on the metal show. They said very good things about us and are having us back for another metalfest. This metalfest will include Conquest from St. Louis as headliner. On August 15th, we will be the featured local band on WQNA! Be sure to check that out as they will have 2 NEW SONGS TO PREVIEW from our new demo! These guys play great metal on this program so check them out every Monday night.
I've finally uploaded some new pictures. They are back from the Red Sea show we did in June and the rest of the recording pictures of Tristen and Jason.
And on another subject, I've recently joined another Nokomis based band called TORMENTED. These guys are great and play great heavy yet melodic modern metal. Check out the TORMENTED site for all the details. As Jasco does, I'm keeping myself busy outside of SOULMINE with another band.

Last night's SLAMFEST 3 was great! All 7 bands were total kick ass bands.
This was the best metalfest show we've been apart of in a long time and probably
the best and heaviest metalfest to come to Springfield. That's just my
opinion of course. Thanks to Divulsion for the show. Good luck on
your tour with Insatanity in the coming months. To all the bands that
played a huge fuck yea for your great performances!
I've been emailed today the we will have a song played on a local radio program
tomorrow night on WQNA 88.3
sometime between 7-9pm for the Monday Night Metal show. The song is going
to
be Dead Weight. Thanks to the three people that host the metal show, Jim Holler,
Chris Hupp and Wayne Harrison. They were out at the show and supported all
the bands that played. Hell yea!
I've added WQNA 88.3 to the links page. Check this local station out. They have a very wide variety of music that they play and that is very cool.
We are still awaiting the final details for our trip to Linn Creek Missouri at the end of the month. Still a few weeks away. Right now we are the only band that still is confirmed. So things may change in the coming days.

Soulmine has just been added to SLAMFEST 3 at Viele's Planet in Springfield. Thanks to Divulsion for the show! All members are Heavycore brothers I think and should be a killer fucking night. More metal than Springfield has seen since the Lamb of God/Slipknot show! Check the shows page for the details.
World Divine has been added to our links page. Welcome these black metal fuckers from the Decatur area with a heavycore hell yeah!

Well I just received the call last night that the demo is finally finished. Everyone has their parts done and on tape. Tomorrow I go to Matt's house to check the levels and begin mixing and mastering it.

Jasco continues to spread the word of Soulmine at yet another premier venue.
Thanks to Trinity and Tom the DJ, Soulmine's "Gift of Waste" was played at the
Crystal Palace strip club in Centreville. Reports state the strippers were a
little confused with Soulmine's music at first, but prevailed with
doing another high quality performance. Don't see that very often, strippers
dancing to death metal..........lol.
Soulmine's new motto: Soulmine - A Strippers Delight!
Holy Shit! You can now buy our first cd online! Released in 2001 now available in 2005? Go figure........ Thanks again to Jasco!

Happy Birthday to Becky and Allison today! Ages will be left off to not incriminate the persons mentioned.....lol Happy Birthday you two from James and Jason!

The show at Red Sea went quite well. Thanks to Kurt for contacting us to play
his club and to the other cool bands that were also on the bill. A very
wide variety of bands played. Upstairs from were we played was a cool trio
but I didn't catch their name. Bands play upstairs and downstairs at the
same time. Very cool and cool people to play for. We've been asked
to come back so that shows things went well. Pictures will be added from
that show soon.
Here are some very professional and completely over-budget promo pictures we now have and a picture of us actually practicing. Enjoy!

Tristen will begin recording his vocals at Matt's house on Monday and then Jason will begin at my house on Thursday. Hopefully we will have this thing finished up before the end of the month.
Check out Jason's other band Honky Tonk G-Spot. I've added it to the links page.

We have a new show just added today for this
Thursday night in St. Louis MO at The Red Sea Club. Check the shows page
for the details. We are still set to begin the finishing process of the demo in
mid-June.

We have a show booked for July! Down by The Lake Of The Ozarks in Missouri. More details on that later. We are also working on getting more shows ready for July and August. Practices when we have them have been really good. Songs sound heavier than before and Scott and I have also begun working on some new material. Things are coming together slowly as usual but we are ready to get out and play again. The recording of the demo will begin again in June. Hopefully we will have it finished up by the end of June. The songs sound really good so far.
Some more poll questions are up again so take a look at them and vote!
Jason has been helping on spreading the word that Soulmine is still around. Check out this page he's put up. CLICK HERE!
I've added some new links for places that support local metal music. Check them out as well.
