Life In Class 4.4      

      School life can sometimes be pretty dull with endless homework and examinations that make you under big pressure. However, I think that school life in not terrible after all and can be enjoyable one and interesting if you are in a class like Class 4.4, 1996.

      A real handsome boy was elected as our class monitor. Yit Fong is the person. He is a responsible person that he is busy collecting our exercise books except his own books!!!!! (hahahahaha......) He works hard the whole year for our class.

     Shirt Fun is the assistant class monitor that always protects us in front of the teachers. The reason is simple: We always make noises and laughs loudly due to our own created crazy and funny jokes. She was known as Wong Fei (Faye Wong) as well as Funny Ooi.

     We have sportsmen active in football, basketball, bowling as well as badminton, future singers such as Weng Chin (Our Jackie Cheung), computer experts, pretty young ladies (still singles, anyone interested?), high rating driver with most unbelieveable skills ("Che Shen - ¨®¯«") as well as bookworms.

     Ken Yong and Lean Tat were `brothers', the couple who always creates jokes in the class. You can never expect what is in their mind! They creates funny jokes that will definitely make you forget about your worries!!!

     Now, comes out our teachers. Mr. Khor Teck Seng is well-known with his old stories that begins with "Gu Long Shuo - ¥jÀs»¡". He is pretty nice person and always creates`duties' for our friends who cleans the blackboard. You will quite familiar with "Yi Ming Tong Xue - ¤@¦W¦P¾Ç, please rub the blackboard." Sometimes, we even said these words for him!! Mr. Teoh Kai Sing is popular with his key words that sounds like this:"Tang Ni Keliru De Shi Hou, Ni Yao Xiang Yi Xiang Yi Sia -·í§Akeliruªº®É­Ô¡M§A­n·Q¤@¤U." Mdm. Nasimah is our beautiful teacher that is very understanding. Kok Kit likes to send `pantun' to her. As a result, she will reply with high quality `pantun'.

     We prepared hard for the Patriotic Song Singing Competiton. We practised seven days a week although is was school holiday. We had spent many hours on it. The time we spent together had brought us to know each other more closely. We had performed very well and we were happy, satisfy and pround of ourselves, so did our form teacher, Mdm. Lai Seong Lin.

     During mid-year school holiday, we went to Batu Feringhi, Penang to enjoy ourselves. Batu Feringhi had a number of beautiful beaches. Ken Yong was elected as The Manager  (Organizer). There were more than twenty students who joined this unforgetable trip. We went by public bus early in the morning. We stopped at Midland Park in Penang as the check-in time was at 12.00 noon. We took our breakfast and went shopping. Then, we went to Batu Feringhi. As it was raining when we arrived there, we stayed in the apartment to get some rest. Later in the evening, the rain stopped. We just could not wait for a second but quickly splashed into the swimming pool to have fun. Sea Gull had created a new stroke for swimming that was known as `Elephant Stroke' (Guess how he did it?). At night, we went B.B.Q. by the seaside. It was totally dark except the small fire set by us. During midnight, we went to the seaside again to listen to Ghost Story. It was really terrible! On the second day, we got back to the town area, heading to Komtar. We went back in the evening. A real unforgetable trip!

     Our class was chosen to involve in Canteen Day on Teacher's Day. Again, we had learnt how to co-operate. We worked up together to prepare for the event. We had to get all the food ready as well as the drinks. A day before the Canteen Day, we went to school to set up the camp in the evening. While the others busy preparing food in Shin Huey's house and Yng Tee's house. We woke up early the next morning to bring all the food and drinks to the school. We skipped the assembly. We had sold out all our food and drinks!!!

     We held our class party twice. The first one was held at Jze Haur's house in August. The second one was held at Sea Gull's house in November. We had a great time together and played some games.

     Finally, we won the third place in inter-class competition and was given cash prize as well as certificates. WHAT A WONDERFUL CLASS!!!
