Hey Ducky!
Chris was my first baby and we learned alot together ~ Mom's firsts and babies firsts.
It has quite been quite a journey and we are still learning.
Babies make the cutest faces and each one stands for something.
Stop taking pictures and change me ~ NOW!!!!
Yeah, Yeah Mommy ~

Hmmm :) ...I just love being a baby. It is cool!
Mommy loves me :o)
<----- Cool Bubble Playtime Chris just loved playing with bubbles. They fascinated him so. Although Mom's blower got tired, it was great fun just watching him enjoy them.

Bubble Mowing Fun ------> Chris says' "A man's work is never done, but it is okay ~ just keep those bubbles coming Mommy...hehe.

Chris & Mom Talk -------> I showed Chris his baby curl and told him we would put it in his baby book where he would be able to see it for years to come.

Hard work and dedication pays off as Chris qualifies to go to Junior Olympics in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. (Taking Karate really helped Chris with his school and his ADD; Attention Deficiet Disorder. It taught him self discipline and respect.)
Chris 1st B-day

"
Did someone say dig-in? Otay! Hey, no body told me I could pick it up! Besides, Mmmmmmmm... it is just as good from this angle...lol. Yummy!"

Mile Stones ~ Chris Walks!
Chris' Preschool Garduation

<--------- One proud little guy, but one who hates his ties.

Chris & (unknown girl) -------> Chris says, "Mom can you tell me how I keep getting into this jam?"
This little girl just came up and demanded to have her picture made with Chris...hehe. Maaaaaaaaan, are we in trouble!

I dread the teenage dating years...
UGH!
Chris has one of sweetest temperments I have ever known in a child, and I am not just saying that as his mother. He is a very good boy!

He truly cares about others and their feelings. He has always been this way.

Christopher has ADD (Attention Deficiet Disorder). Therefore, parenting requires a lot of love and patience. However, I have never had much of a problem in that department.

Chris loves to do magic acts, and he use to entertain me all the time. He is good at it too!
Chris' Kindergarten Graduation ~

Christopher is a very bright and intelligent little boy. He had some difficulty early on with his hearing, and speech. It was estimated that my son had a hearing loss of approximately 50-60%. However, this was quickly rectified by some much needed ear surgery, and I am happy to say that his speech has corrected itself as well. We were very concerned early on that he might be a stutterer. It bothered Christopher a lot too.

During Chris' year in Kindergarten, he had a teacher who taunted and made fun of him. She got on to him for what she termed as "baby talk" ~ and generally damaged his self-esteem. If you have a child like this either as a parent, or a teacher; NEVER make fun of them. It could have devastating longterm effects on the child. I sure gave his "teacher" a piece of my mind. Needless to say she left my son alone after that..(lol).
One beary sweet boy ~ Christopher :o)
Chris' 1st Catch ~

Christopher had a really good day at the fishing pond on his first fishing venture..

He was so proud. He wanted to stuff, and mount them, but I said, NO! When we opted to have a fish fry instead, Chris tasted them, but refused to eat them.

Hmmm...he outgrew that though.
This little fisherman now eats his catch. Just like a true Irish fisherman.
Chris played many many years of base ball ~

He played for the...
Blue Jays
Red Socks
Colorado Rocks
Texas Rangers
Astros

All T-ball and junior baseball teams though (of course), but he was REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!
As his mother, I never left one of Chris' games with my voice. It was great fun cheering him on to victory or comforting him through defeat. However, there were more victories than defeats I am glad to say.

I also served as a Team Mom for a couple of years and that was fun too, but it is hard to do that for your own son's team. There had to be ground rules
(such as no special preveledges for little Christopher).
Way to go...

~ School Days ~

Chris was an excellent student. He was always on the A Honor Roll, or A/B Honor Roll.

He loved Science, Math, and art.

Least favorite subject was English and spelling.
Mommy asks, "What do you want to be when you grow up Chris my boy?"
Chris answers, "I don't know Mommy ~ I can't decide. Right now I am just enjoying being a kid."
"All I want for Christmas is..."
Chris' first kiss...awww :o)
~ That's my son ~
He is one little cool little guy!
He is a great "Big Bother" too, or as Maegan use to call him "Buhbby" Either way he is hip.
