Next Meeting: Wednesday, January 5, 2004 Topic: TBA The Toronto Women's SM Discussion Group takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at the 519 Community Center (519 Church Street) from 8-10pm. Each month a new topic is presented & discussed by one of the group members. Any woman is welcome to attend, volunteer or faciliate a discussion. Creatively spawned from the discussion group, but NOT affiliated with, is an e-mail list devoted to women in Toronto who Play, and includes an extensive calendar of local SM/women-friendly events. The e-mail list is comprised of numerous women, all of differing orientations and skill levels. The E-mail List A discussion group/email list, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Geared towards women who pracice BDSM. In addition to discussion/debate/flirting, this list will also include a calendar of Leather & SM events that are geared towards the Toronto women's SM community, or that are woman/dyke friendly. NO, you don't have to be a lesbian/dyke/queer to join this list! You just have to be a woman/woman-identified who Plays. The term woman also includes transsexual and transgendered identities. Any woman is invited to join, regardless of skill level. One thing i should mention: this list is a women-only space. The list is devoted to ensuring a safe, and comfortable space for women to discuss thier Play / techniques / thoughts/etc... No, you don't have to discuss women-only play. Many women on the list play with male/male-identified partners. This is just a space for women to be with other women. In addition, members can feel free to post personal ads on this list. There just aren't enough ways for leather women to meet other hot leather women! Personal ads & pictures are welcome, and the list has a special section devoted to this for members to view.
