Chapter 3:
Shinya woke up to a bright and sunny morning. The birds are singing, the weather's warm and nothing can be better than this..Die....Shinya sigh and got out of bed. There's still 2 hours before Toshiya comes...*sweatdrop* make that over 2 hours. Toshiya's always late! An hour and a half later Shinya sat in the kitchen eating breakfast. Cereal to be exact. (He really needs to learn to cook ne?). Half an hour and 20 minutes later. The phone rang. 'Moshi, moshi?' 'A-ano Shin-chan, gomen ne! I'm so late! '? 'That's ok. What happened?'? You can pratically hear Toshiya blush. 'ano...it's all Kaoru's fault, he woke me up late'? 'nevermind Totchi! I'll be down in a minute '?
At the mall.... 'Sugoi!! I never knew there is such a big department store for fabrics!'? 'That's because you don't shop in this side of the mall! Totchi? '? 'hmm?'? busy looking for the right color and design. 'Do you need any help?'? 'Iya... I think I can manage just fine ne? Ano... Shin-chan do you need to go somewhere? '? 'Iya... I also need to buy some fabrics ,that 's all.'? 'Then you better find it, I'll be ok'? 'Hai, Ja! Let's meet at the entrance around 2:00 ne? See ya later Totchi€ '? 'Ja!! '? Which? hmmm......red? no....it's Holloween.....black always look good on him. Black with red.... With that decided Shinya went to find the materials needed. Around two.... Shinya stood waiting at the door, shopping bags beside him. Totchi takes so long ne? Shinya close his eyes for a moment I know Die loves his fans but what if he doesn't like the costume? Shaking his head to clear off all the unreasonable thoughts, Shinya sigh. Suddenly he froze. Why are they torturing me like this?? Why? Why does everywhere I go, I see THEM?? Die and Ceol walked out of a nearby restaurant holding bags and bags of shopping bags. Shinya tried to hide from their view but it was too late. Die spotted him. Shinya! What is he doing here? Walking over to the drummer, trying to be as bright and happy as possible, Ceol is clearly annoyed. 'Konnichiwa Shin-chan! What are you doing here?€ '? Jealousy flow through Shinya like ocean waves. He almost missed Die's question. 'emm...ano I'm here with Totchi. He's not done with his shopping yet. What are you two doing here? '? Stupid question!! You know very well what they are doing here!'We're shopping of course! Ne Die-kun can we go to that place that just opened? I really want to see the place, everyone said it has the most popular brands! '? Ceol really want to get Die away from Shinya as soon as possible. That time at the Photo shoot really got her going. That stupid director! How dare she put Die and tha-that Shinya together like that?? Ceol came very close to tearing the place to shreds. She also know that Shinya feels attracted to her Die, but she won€ '²t let them get together and ruin Die's life if it was the last thing she do! 'ok. Ja ne Shin-chan! See you tomorrow ne?'? 'Hai. Ja ne Die€ '? Ever since Die and Ceol got together everything went wrong! Die hardly ever tease him anymore and is being very polite. Not that Shinya doesn't like Die now, but he missed the old one. The one that teases Shinya day and night just to see him annoyed. Shinya watch as the couple walk away. His heart aching as Ceol wrap her arms around Die's waist and lean against him, wishing he was in that position/in her place. Forget it Shinya, never going to happen. Just then Toshiya popped out of the store holding a lot more bags than Shinya. 'Ne. Totchi Die was just here'? Toshiya frown,'With that Ceol girl? '? 'Hai with Ceo'? 'ano...Shin- chan are you alright? Your tone sound a bit too flat... '? Shinya quickly mask it up, 'Hai! Why wouldn't I be alright?'?'Don 't tell Die this but I don€ 't really like that girl....there's something around her I don't like...'? ' mmmm....ano....Totchi what's in all the bags?'? *sweatdrops* 'hehe....I didn't know what color to get so I brought all the colors that looks good on Kaoru ne. '? 'Let's get started on this ne?'? 'chotto. Shinya why are you buying fabrics too?'? 'emm....my costume'? Which is a lie because Shinya had already made his costume last month. He just couldn't tell Totchi who it is for, he couldn't tell anyone. 'Toshiya, do you have the designs for it yet?'? 'nope...I can't decide between a medieval design and a 21st century one. Which one do you think Kaoru will look better in?'? 'Toshiya why don't you make a combination of both? '?'good idea. ano...I wanna get started with this Shin-chan! Let's go home ne? '? 'Hai.'? Toshiya drove Shinya back to his apartment building then drove away. Shinya look over to Die's building and a wishful feeling began......but was sharply cut off. Once in the safe confine of his apartment, Shinya took out the fabrics and starts cutting. He had memorized Die's measurements from the tailor's book at the studio. Three hours later Shinya is finally done...hmmm....I wonder if the director would lead me her sewing machine? Shinya picked up the phone and dial the director's number. I hope she's home now. 2 rings later, the director picks up the phone. 'Moshi moshi?'? 'ano...Director-san?'?
'Shinya-san!'? clearly surprised that Shinya would call her.'umm...hai. I was wondering if I can borrow your sewing machine?' confused, 'my sewing machine? What for?'? 'ano....I can't tell you....but can I still borrow it? I promise I'll return it on the 27th'? 'I trust you Shin-chan, alright I'll let you borrow it. But take good care of it ne? '? 'um! I will '? 'I'll bring it to you tomorrow ne?''arigatou Director-san! There's just one more thing, '? 'Nani?€ '? 'Don't tell anyone, please?'? The next day....... Die and Kaoru were busy talking when...'Ne Die-san, Kaoru- san have you seen Shinya '? 'eep! Director!! Don't sneak up on people!'?'gomen, demo ne have you seen Shin-chan?'? Die frown,'What's wrong? '? 'aaa....nothing, Shin- chan just wanted to borrow something. So have you seen him anywhere? '? 'Shinya is putting on his makeup '? 'ummm....can I trust you two to give this to Shinya when he's done? '? Die and Kaoru suspiciously eyed the box she is holding. 'Yep, you can count on us, Director!! '? Die look a bit too innocent to be trusted. Once the Director is out of sight, Die started examining the box. 'I wonder what's in it ne Kaoru. '?'Die! You can't do that!! It's for Shin-chan!'? 'Maa maa Kaoru, just a peek ne? '? 'no! '? 'fine! I'll just wait until Shinya opens it, I'll get to see it anyway '? € '³baka! How would you know if Shinya opens it now!€ '? € '³Ano are you guys talking about me??€ '? Shinya, hands on hip, annoyed. € '³Iya Shin-chan, we were wondering what inside that box. It€ '²s from the Director. She we are not allow to touch it except for you. So do you know what€ '²s in it. Ne ne tell us!€ '? Die was practically all over Shinya after his speech. He€ '²s teasing me...at least that€ '²s back to normal...iya! How many times have I told myself get over it! I just can€ '²t damn it! Uncomfortably, € '³Die get off me. The Director will kill me if anything happens to the thing inside. Gomen I can€ '²t risk it€ '? It€ '²ll be worst if they saw it! When Die receives my gift he€ '²ll know exactly who gave it to him...iya iya I can€ '²t let him see. Toshiya came in just in time, € '³Totchi!€ '? Kaoru went over to kiss his koibito. And as expected, the couple starts murmuring lovey dovey nonsense to each other. (^_^ ahh! love!) Shinya carry the sewing machine to his dressing table, yatta! All I have to do now is put everything together. To bad this isn€ '²t valentine.....no! If it is valentine Die would be spending all his time with Ceol! At least on holloween I can make him something that is useful. Four days before the Holloween Party.... Shinya walk over to Die€ '²s apartment building, breathed in some confidence, hug the package to his chest more tightly and took the elevator up to Die€ '²s floor. Once there, he tip toed up to Die€ '²s door, left the package on the floor and rang the door bell. Heh? ano...who could that be...it couldn€ '²t be Ceol, thank god!, I just sent her home. Die walked over to the door, but when he opened it no one was there, humph must€ '²ve been some punk. Are? What€ '²s this? He bent down to pick up the neatly wrapped package. There was only one thing on it that indicate it€ '²s for Die. Die€ '²s name is written in BIG dark letters on the wrapper. Curious, Die took the parcel into his apartment. Fifteen minutes, 8 wrappers later (^_^ Shin-chan accidentally wrapped the package several layers thick. He was too nervous, can€ '²t say I blame him ne?), something heavy yet soft fell out. hmmm? What's this? Die picked it up and look at it in wonder. Who gave me this? It's beautiful! Die look around, and as expected there€ '²s a note, #Die, I really hope you like this. I made it myself. I know there will be a Holloween Party for all J-rockers, and I really want you to wear it. I made it just for you. *sign* Your most devoted fan. # hmmm...no name. Must be very shy. But it's a wonderful gift ne? I love it! I wonder who gave this to me....
