Chapter 4:
Shinya glance up at Die’s window. He should’ve gotten it by now. I hope he likes it. Die no baka! I really want to go with you Die, but I guess you’ll be going with Ceol. With a rejected sigh Shinya drove off to the Director’s home. “Ohayo Shinya!” Shinya follow the director into her house, carrying the sewing machine. “Ohayo, ne director-san where do I put this” “ano just put it on the table, Shin-chan do you want anything to drink?” The director went into the kitchen “Iya, no thanks” Shinya sat down on a chair near the television. The director came out carrying some pastries. She set it down in the middle of the table, sat back and look Shinya. Studying him to be exact. Shinya felt her stare and starts to feel uncomfortable. Then the director spoke seriously “Shinya” Shinya, thinking the director is going to talk to him about work, looks back at the director just as seriously, “ano... Shinya, what do you think of wearing something..... a little more ........revealing sometimes?” Shinya fell out of his chair. The director smile. “na-nani?? Revealing?” Shinya got back up and sat back down carefully, since he doesn’t know if the director is going to pull any more stunts like that. “Hai, more revealing, oh don’t get me wrong, the clothes you wear in the studio is ok but the clothes you wear on streets are...ano...how to say this.... I’m not used to you wearing such casual clothing.” “I understand, demo.... revealing??” The director by now has hearts in her eyes, dreamily, “Hai, hai, more revealing. You have a great body Shin-chan! Show it off sometimes ne?” Shinya sweatdropped, “de-demo director!” “Shinya you’re so modest! ano...not too moderate but still!” “bu-but-” “no more buts Shinya!” Smiling a bit too impishly, “ne let’s go shopping! We’ll set a date!” Trying desperately to find a way out, Shinya tries to reason with the director, “I already went shopping last week” “come on Shinya! You do want to look good for Die-kun, am I right?” Shocked, but Shinay recovers quickly, the director almost didn’t see it, hiding behind his mask, he managed to say calmly and as casual and possible, “Iya. Why would I want to?” the director shakes her head at the drummer’s denial, “Shinya-san? How long have I known you guys?” confused at what she is aiming for, Shinya replies, “since we got recruited” “right. And you guys never noticed that I observed a lot of your behaviors during the pass few years. I noticed that Kaoru lusted after Toshiya for the first year, but fell in love with him later on. Toshiya began to fall in love with Kaoru too, but it was before Kaoru lusted after him. Poor Toshiya was down for the next few months, you remember that ne?” Shinya nodded his head, surprised at how much the director knows, “Toshiya came to me during those months. We talked, demo...I couldn’t convince him to talk to Kaoru, so I went to Kaoru instead. Luckily Kaoru listened, and confessed his feelings to Toshiya.” Shinya never knew how Toshiya and Kaoru got together, they never told him and Shinya doesn’t want to ask questions. He listen on. The director smile at Shinya, “I knew you were in love with Die before you knew it or excepted it? But once you acknowledged your feelings, you hid them. Why?” Shinya shrugs. “Shin-chan are you ever going to tell him?” “Iya, and who saids I have feeling for that baka!?” The director sweatdrops, “Shinya you just admitted it and it’s very obvious!” worried, “really? Do you think Die knows?” “baka, anata wa baaaka! If Die knows he would’ve said something right?” Shinya nodded slowly, not sure. “um! I won’t tell Die-san, you could trust me! Sooo ...shall I continue?” “Iya, I think that’s enough.” I don’t want to know. Die doesn’t feel the same, I guess there’s still a part of me that hopes. Seeing that Shinya is uncomfortable the director quickly changed the subject. “Ano...Shinya, can you tell me why you borrowed my machine?” Shinya became more uncomfortable. The director sweatdrops, is he embarrassed by everything I say?? “It’s personal” “Are you making your own costume Shin-chan?” surprised, but Shinya still doesn’t want anyone to know who he made the costume for, “hai. It’s finished.” Looking at the clock, it’s almost 2 pm. “Ano... director-san. I really should be going.” Regretfully, but still nicely the director agreed, “visit me sometimes ne, Shinya?” “hai.” “oh and one more thing, see you tomorrow at 12 ne?” “Director!” “*pouts* Shin-chan? Onegai? I really want to pick out some clothes that fits you ne?” Shinya sigh, “alright. Ja!” The director waited until the door closed behind Shinya and grinned. I love playing matchmaker! heh heh My plan’s going to work out perfectly! At the mall.... “nope...errr....what is this??....nope....no....maybe....let’s see....this one’s ok. hmm....this.....and this....nope this one’s out of style.....too colorful......too happy....*sweatdrops* too weird-” “a-ano director! You’ve been picking through the this area for over an hour and people are starting to stare!” Shinya wore his hat so no one can recognize, but from the atention the director is attracting, he knows his disguise won’t hold up. “hai hai. ne Shinya, try these on will you?” Shinya sigh, “ok.” 5 minutes later, Shinya walk out of the dressing room looking like animal in heat (^_^ now we all know Shin-chan doesn’t really look like that), and feeling dumb. The director circle around him, looking up and down, “hmm....ano...maybe the tights should go...yep...but the mini skirt stays. The vest gotta go- ne Shinya why don’t you go try the others too?” Shinya obediently walks back in. Why did I agree to this??^^;; All the clothes are not what I normally wear! I don’t see how Die would like-stop. right. there. Shinya. I’m just shopping with the director cause she asked me to! That’s it, no other purposes. Satisfied, when no argument from the opposing side, Shinya quickly changed, hoping to get this over with fast. The next day..... WHY did I agree to this?? Shinya grumpily walk towards the entrance to the studio. This is so embarrassing!! As he walk passed a group of workers, he can hear them gasp. Oh great, now they’ll start talking. Shinya, pursued by the director, is wearing a black mini skirt, dark but transparent lace stockings (Die: nice legs Shin-chan! ^_^ Shinya: *blush!* baka! *whack* Die: Itai ^^;;), a pair of leather high heels (not too high) shoes, a white turtle neck shirt that reaches about 1 inch and a half above his billy button and a black coat that reaches up to his knees. Shinya’s back part of his hair is clipped up and the band or the front part is down. While walking toward the practice room, Shinya can feel a lot of eyes looking his way and many gasps always follow. Is it that hard to believe?? I’m just wearing something different! “To-shi-ya-chan” Kaoru whispered into the ear of the bassist currently sitting on his lap or rather wiggling on his lap. Kaoru tries again, “Totchi-chan, if you don’t stop moving, I’m going to do something drastic to that wiggly body of yours” Toshiya giggled, “Oh really? Like what?” Kaoru held the bassist, by the waist, tighter against him until Toshiya stopped wiggling and squirming around. “Like this,” Kaoru then mercilessly began to tickle the bassist. Toshiya managed to say between gasps, “Ka-Kaoru, hahaha, stop! aahhh! stop! I-I give u-up!” Kaoru stops his assault and let Toshiya recover. Toshiya loops his arms around Kaoru and kissed his cheek. Kyo shook his head, “god! you two are helpless! Day and night, day and night! Somepeople, me for instance, need a break from you two!” Toshiya stuck his tongue out at Kyo, and turn his attention back to Kaoru. Shinya open the door as casually as possible, he started walking towards his drums, but couldn’t help but feel his bandmates eyes on him. “Shi-Shinya??” Kyo was practically falling out of his seat, thinking it’s probably someone else. It couldn’t be Shin-chan. But Shinya turn towards him, blinking, “nani? ano...Kyo you should sit back down.” “a-a” Toshiya went over to hug him. “Wow Shin-chan, what happened? Why the sudden change?? Got a hot date?” Shinya sweatdrops, “Iya, the director nearly ordered me to wear it. Ne Toshiya, how do I look. I was really worried this morning” “You look fabulous! Why did the director do this anyway?” Toshiya is very curious about Shinya’s whole get up. He is grinning from ear to ear. It’s not everyday you see the modest Shinya dressed up! “ano... it kind of started out as a little chat and ended me agreeing to go shopping with her.” Shinya bother saying anything about the director matchmaking Kaoru and Toshiya up. Totchi’s going to get embarrassed anyway. Better not tease him today, he might take revenge. A few minutes later, a deafly familiar voice is heard, just before Die walks in, follow quickly by Ceol, holding onto his arm. They didn’t get far into the room when they spotted Shinya. I-Is that our Shin-chan?? Die couldn’t believe his eyes, and couldn’t take them off the beautiful drummer standing only 2 meters away. Shinya caught sight of Die, blushed, and averted his eyes. I wonder what he thinks. Die couldn’t move, couldn’t bare to look away, My GOD he beautiful, so lovely, so inviting, so sexy, so delicate, so- he was brought back to reality when Ceol tugged at his arm. Ceol is VERY pissed off. Damn him! Damn that bastard! I’ll have to find a way to take care of him.....
