"Shinya-kun…" Kyo rushed into the room desperately. Toshiya looked at him suspiciously, "Kyo-kun…what do you want?!" the bassist leaned on Shinya as if protecting him. Kyo glared at him, "It’s not what you think it is!" he yelled at Toshiya with blushing cheeks. Shinya smiled, "What can in help?"
Toshiya pouted looking at him weirdly, "Shinya…you’re just too nice! You should learn how to say ‘in one condition’ because nothing is free these days!!!" Kyo stuck his tongue out, "Shut up Toshiya! He’s not like you!" the bassist kicked him.
"Enough!" Shinya fumed seeing Kyo pretending to strangle Toshiya. Both of them stopped and smiled sheepishly.
"Childish!" the youngest commented. Both of them protested, "Iie!!! Wah…how can you say that?!"
"What do you want?" Shinya asked, impatiently. Kyo suddenly gave him an innocent smile. Toshiya’s eyes grew big, "Shinya, I’m sure this isn’t a good thing!" the drummer smiled wider, "He’s Kyo-kun…what do you expect?" the bassist giggled.
"Ano…Shin-chan…I left my wallet at home…" Kyo whispered, looking a bit shy.
Toshiya snorted.
"Can I borrow some money?" Kyo asked in a very pleading tone. "Please…" he smiled innocently. Shinya looked at him, then glanced at Toshiya then sighed.
"Okay…" Shinya moved taking out his wallet. Toshiya turned in surprise. Kyo smiled winningly at him. The drummer shook his head slowly and offered Kyo the wallet, "Nah…take the whole thing, I’ll just count later…" Shinya spoke casually, sounding a bit lazy. Toshiya gasped, then whined, "What?! You’re just too nice!" he hissed.
Kyo smiled sweetly, taking the wallet. "Domo ariga-" Shinya suddenly pulled it back. Toshiya grinned.
"I thought you wanted to lend me some money…" Kyo mumbled almost in a sulking tone. The drummer nodded, "Hai…" he looked at Toshiya,
"In one condition"
Kyo pouted, "What?"
"Tonight is the night of that fireworks festival! You have to come with us…or else go and find somebody else’s wallet!" Shinya replied lightly.
Toshiya laughed, "That’s a great idea! All five of us will be there! Cool!" he exclaimed. Kyo looked thoughtful for a while. He suddenly snatched the wallet, "Okay…and I promise I won’t spend all the money!" Shinya narrowed his eyes at the disappearing Kyo.
"So…are you ready for tonight?" Toshiya asked, teasingly. Shinya looked away, "Hn…"
"Okay! This is the deal…I’ll go with Kaoru and Kyo…" Shinya looked at Toshiya weirdly. "Die will pick you up!" the bassist’s eyes lit up. Shinya choked.
"No!!! you can’t leave me alone with him!" he tried to protest but looked more than happy.
"Come on…" Toshiya pushed. "It’s not that he’ll do anything to you…"
"But…how about Kyo with us? I don’t wanna be alone…with him…" Shinya spoke softly.
Toshiya sighed, "Fine…but how do you expect him to talk to you? you guys really need to be left alone!"
Shinya shook his head, "I’ll find a time…and…" he stopped. Toshiya raised an eyebrow, waiting.
"Nevermind…" the reply came almost like a whisper.
Toshiya pouted getting up his seat, "Fine! You’re so stubborn Shinya!" the drummer smiled hearing that. Way too familiar…Die had always called him the stubborn one…

"Hai…hai…okay…Ja matte!"
Die turned his mobile off biting his lip down. He walked around the room nervously just as Kaoru and Toshiya saw him.
"Hey! You look really worried! Scared of tonight?" Toshiya teased. The red head shook his head, "Iie…well, I can’t go tonight!" he mumbled carefully. Kaoru looked at him in shock. Toshiya narrowed his eyes.
"Dooshite? Too scared?! You’re such a coward Die!" Toshiya hissed angrily. Kaoru put a hand on his back to calm him down, "I think Die has a better excuse, ne?" he looked at Die.
"My parents are coming this evening…and it’ll be a family gathering sort of thing" Die threw himself on the couch heavily.
"You guys should know my ‘big’ family, my brothers are coming too!"
The pink head sighed, "So you’re not going? Really?" he sounded disappointed. Everything they had planned so well, had to be delayed! Seeing Kaoru and Toshiya’s gloomy voice, Die felt really bad.
"I’ll try my best to catch up, I’ll just go and meet you guys somewhere as soon as they leave! I promise!" he stated firmly. Toshiya smiled excitedly, "Hounto ni? Ah! That’s really good!" he clutched on Kaoru’s arm. The pink head looked worried.
"Are you sure it’s okay for your parents?" he asked, caringly. Die got up, held his shoulder and nodded, "Don’t worry! They’re not planning to stay overnight anyway…" he shrugged. Kaoru nodded in satisfaction.
"So how’s the plan. We’re still meeting at 31st street right?" Die suddenly remembered. That was the place where the fireworks party would started. Toshiya grinned, "Well, since Shinya thought you would pick him up, …" Kaoru smiled to Die, the kind of smile that made the red head stared at him suspiciously.
"You should tell him about your parents…tell him you’re gonna be late!" Toshiya added slowly, mischievously. Die shook his head as he turned pale, "No…you tell him…I-I…" he stuttered trying to find some reasonable excuse. Kaoru chuckled.
"And you didn’t admit you’re scared?"
Die turned red this time, "I’m not! I’m just really nervous!"
"Come on…as if you never did it before! Shinya too! Exaggerating things!" Toshiya spoke slapping Die’s arm. The red head winced slightly,
"That makes me even more nervous!" he looked at the couple. They were really pushing him. He wanted to talk to Shinya, but how was he supposed to? Everytime his eyes met Shinya’s his knees shook and he was just too scared! And his heart beat…ah! It’s just too hard! And nobody would ever understand his feelings!!!
Die sighed, walked towards a desk and put his wallet and mobile down. Toshiya giggled softly, "Kaoru-chan…I know somebody who look so say and nervous!" Kaoru smiled back to his lover. Die glowered and walked out the room.

Shinya opened his eyes as somebody made some weird noises around. He blinked expecting Kyo playing with matches and stuff but instead he found somebody else walking around the room nervously. Shinya blinked again and soon his vision cleared. And when he realized who the person was his heart jumped madly.
"Ah…you’re awake!" Die gasped. Shinya sat up looking away.
Not now…seriously not now…
"Ano…Toshiya told you I was going to pick you up…" Die began, trying to get straight to the point.
Shinya nodded in confusion.
So he doesn’t wanna go with me or what?
"My parents are coming…and I night be late…so I hope you don’t mind…" Die looked at him worriedly but the red head didn’t focus on Shinya’s face too long. He would blush furiously. Shinya nodded few times.
"You don’t have to pick me up, actually…" Shinya suddenly spoke. Die looked surprise. The drummer tried to ignore it.
"I won’t be alone…I’ll go Kyo, then meet you guys somewhere…" Shinya added quickly, remembering his promise to Die not to put himself in danger. Die looked confused, and the expression on the older man’s face told Shinya he didn’t like the idea…
"Demo…" he tried. Now Die crouched down in front of Shinya.
"No…you don’t have to drive here and there…just meet me there…" Shinya gave him a smile. Die’s eyes lit up.
"Meet you there…" he repeated sounding really dreamy and happy. The younger man nodded slowly, giving him another shy smile. But then Die looked confused.
"Where are we meeting each other?" he asked. Shinya thought for a while, "Where the festival starts…31st street" he finally replied. The guitarist shook his head quickly, "No…that’s a dangerous place!" he refused. Shinya laughed a little, "There will be lots of people and I’ll be with Kyo…" he gazed at the older man.
"I’ve promise you a-" Shinya suddenly stopped. Die waited.
"Ah…I’ll…we’ll meet you there…Toshiya and Kaoru knew it…we meet where the festival starts" Shinya turned away speaking softly. Die couldn’t under stand why Shinya sounded so cold in sudden. But he wasn’t going to question that. At least Shinya waited for tonight too…and Die could see he was nervous too…and somebody finally understood how he felt.
Shinya nodded to him then walked away. The drummer sighed as he was in the corridor. He almost let it slipped.
I’ve promise you anyway…not to put myself in danger ever again…
"Shinya!"
The drummer turned hearing somebody calling out his name. It was Kyo, holding a pack of potato chips. Kyo grinned widely, "Do you know they’re reporting the festival on TV?" he asked with mouth full of chips. Shinya shook his head and gasped as the older man pulled his arm, "Let’s go and watch!" Shinya could only let himself being pulled hard.
"Hey…where’s my wallet?" he suddenly remembered as Kyo turned on the TV. Kyo took it out from his pocket, "Here…let’s go watch ne…" Shinya yelped as Kyo threw it and the wallet landed on a desk. The drummer pouted, "Hey! What did you do?"
The vocalist smiled sheepishly, "I don’t want you to know how much of your money was spend right now…I’m poor and homeless…let’s just watch ne?" he focused on the TV. Shinya sighed, then nodded.
"Wah…look! The preparation so cool ne…" Kyo exclaimed trying to distract Shinya from his wallet. The drummer turned.
"Hai hai…"
