"Why is everyone bugging me every fucking morning?!!!" Toshiya yelled irritably. "Stupid fucking phone! Stop fucking ringing you baka! K’so!!! I’m not getting up only to get you!" he closed his eyes and threw a pillow towards the never-ending ringing noise.

"Gee, Totchi…ohayo too. And how nice this morning’s gonna be hearing you swear that much!" came a tired voice. Toshiya pouted and whined, "Hn, Kaoru…can you tell them to stop calling like," he looked at his watch, "Eight in the morning?!!!" Kaoru opened his eyes and gave a slow smile while Toshiya snuggled up to him, "I’m still tired of last night ne…"

Kaoru kissed his cheek, got up and answered it, "Moshi-moshi…eh? Hai" the guitarist nodded slowly, but then his eyes widened, "Nani?! So what?" Toshiya opened his eyes and sat up. Kaoru held his hand tightly, "Hai, so desu ne. Okay, em…" he looked at Toshiya, "Do you want us to be there?" Kaoru smiled, "’Tis okay! Bye"

Toshiya raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean by ‘do you want us to be there’ ?" he crossed his arms, "Who’s that?"

"Die, the doc called him just now…"

"Gee! That must be a really morning call!" Toshiya commented but stopped abruptly noticing Kaoru’s stare. "The doc has moved Shinya to one of the rooms, so we can visit him and…" the bassist’s eyes lit up.

"You mean…he’s fine…now? Like…normal patient? You mean one of those rooms-" Kaoru nodded, "Which is weird" he whispered, looking thoughtful. "Nani? Did you say anything?" Toshiya looked curious.

"Ano, No! I was just mumbling some crap. Anyway…" the older man walked towards the cupboard, "Let’s safe time taking shower than talk!" he winked reaching out for a shirt. Toshiya wanted to protest. The younger man needed more sleep but then he smiled a little, staring at his lover’s naked body. And Kaoru noticed, "What?"

Toshiya smirked, "Nah, safe time for shower ne? Let’s do it!" the bassist got up and swayed his bare hips a little bit too much than necessary, walking towards bathroom. Kaoru shut his eyes and lifted his head up, it’s gonna be one long shower! But he didn’t mind did he? He –never- mind.

Die closed the door silently and made sure his footsteps couldn’t be heard. He smiled reaching the bed.

"Shinya…" he touched his ‘lover’s’ cheek, "Kirei na…" he whispered. Die sat down on the chair beside the bed, touching Shinya’s hands. They looked cold and pale but they felt so warm. As always…just like Shinya himself. Cold outside, warm inside…

"Shinya…open your eyes…can you imagine how happy I am right now? The doc said two days, but the sun set only once, since you almost scared me to death! That night Shin-chan…if I knew I wouldn’t have let myself hand you that glass…I would’ve have called for the nurse or doctor…people who know how to treat you well! Not like me. Shinya…I promise, and this isn’t just gonna be another promise I make…"

You and your ten thousand promises…I’m so sick of that Die! I’m so hurt!!!

Die closed his eyes.

If you can’t do it, don’t make a promise!!! Never!

"I promise…I'll never be careless and selfish anymore! And I'll be a better man, your man! And I'll take care of you! I will! I'll talk to your parents about it, and…" he lost his voice. Die sniffed softly and wiped his tears away. Then his hands reached out for Shinya’s, "Shin-chan…I promise…"

"But you have to open your eyes…you have to-" he wiped his eyes again. "You have to wake up so you can see me actually making the promise come true! I will take care of you! I'll never let you walk out of my apartment anymore!!!" Die squeezed Shinya’s hands hard, forgetting how fragile Shinya’s state, forgetting that Shinya couldn’t even hear a word his said.

"Shinya…please…" Die closed his eyes, "Me o akeru…onegai…" he whispered and rested his head on the bed, shaking.

Kaoru sat on the chair tapped his fingers on the table. He shouldn’t have done that but couldn’t help it. Yoshiki lifted his eyes up and stared at the pink head.

"Yameru"

Kaoru nodded and stopped.

"It’s been four days…" the older man spoke coldly and Kaoru nodded absently. "There’s no sign of him…just a normal heart beat and a normal breathing" Kaoru nodded again. "He looks like as if he’s sleeping…" Yoshiki spoke narrowing his eyes.

"He –is- sleeping Yoshiki-san…" Kaoru finally opened his mouth and spoke. But his voice sounded crack. Yoshiki cupped his own face and rubbed it. "Four days…since he choked blood…and never wakes up after that! I say we shouldn’t wait anymore! Get on with your life, forget about it and I'll sign up as your drummer!!!" Yoshiki waved his hands in the air irritably. Kaoru glared at him.

How could he say that?!

Yoshiki threw himself on his comfy chair, "Sorry…" he murmured. Kaoru turned away.

"Yoshiki-san, he’s in coma. Coma and don’t you think it’s a bit weird he’s under proper care?" Kaoru asked carefully. Yoshiki leaned forward, "What do you mean by that?" the younger one sighed, ‘Shinya’s treated as a normal patient! As if he can walk and talk!"

The producer touched his own chin, "Right…I noticed too" he looked up, "But the doc promised to tell us everything! I mean, he –told- me! And he’ll keep telling me about his condition! There’s no way…" Yoshiki shook his head.

"Yoshiki-san, maybe Die was right! Maybe we shouldn’t have trusted him that much! He’s a doctor!" there was no reply. And Kaoru waited for a long time before speaking again.

"Yoshiki-san, where’s Shinya’s parents?" Kaoru suddenly asked. Yoshiki blinked and looked confused, "Nani? His parents? Back to Osaka yesterday, why? why are you asking me about-oh!" Kaoru smiled nodding his head. So the producer seemed to understand eh?

"That’s weird…"

Kaoru nodded strongly, "The only son, coma! And they gone back already!"

Yoshiki laughed in disbelief, "Kaoru! Care to be a detective?" the pink head smiled, "We should make a move, but not now!"

"Yeah…wait till the next weird action comes! Then we catch him!" Yoshiki smiled and winked to Kaoru, who smiled back.

"Eh? Visiting him?" Kyo stared as his ex roomie passed round the room, trying to tidy up. The bassist nodded, "Ee…let’s do it ne. I miss Shin-chan already!" the singer looked at him weirdly, "How’s he? What did Kaoru say?"

Toshiya tied his long black hair up, "Nani? Why didn’t you ask your old man? My old man probably doesn’t know as much!" he winked. Kyo joined his eyebrows, "Dare a?" he thought for a while, "Toshiya!!!" Kyo glared seeing the younger one giggled hysterically, "Stupid ne, who else?!!! That old-old man, doh!"

Kyo blushed a little and turned away, "There’s nothing between us okay?" Toshiya smiled funnily, "Yeah, whatever!" he took his wallet and put it in his pocket, "Let’s go ne? I wanna see Shin-chan…" Kyo followed him.

"But he’s not awake yet! How does he know you’re there?"

"They said coma people hear things! So if you talk to Shinya, he’ll probably listen to you! Tell him to open his eyes soon ne? Let him know we all love him…"

"Hm…"

Kaoru knocked on the door before opening it. The doc greeted him and he bowed politely. "Kaoru-kun…how are you?" the older man whispered. Die turned around and smiled to him. Kaoru smiled back, "Fine…" he spoke, softly. But why?

Shinya’s not gonna wake up even if I yell right into his ears! And making him wake up is what everyone wants ne?

"Die…" Kaoru touched the other guitarist’s shoulder, "How long have you been in here?" the pink head heard chuckle and quickly turned his head. "Your friend has been staying here for ages! He practically lives here!" the doc answered his question. Die shrugged, focusing back on his Shinya.

Kaoru rubbed his nose weirdly, "Hey…it’s good if you care so much…. But please don’t forget yourself! Don’t make the doctor treat you like a patient too! He only needs Shinya!" he patted Die’s arm. The red head nodded absently, "Yeah…I won’t" without even looking at Kaoru. the doc sighed and shook his head slowly.

"I can take care of myself! But Shinya can’t! he needs me…that’s why I’m here." Die leaned forward and held Shinya’s hand. Feeling the warmth Die smiled, "I want Shinya to be awake as soon as possible"

"I want him to know…I never leave him"

Kaoru turned his head and looked at the doctor, who looked at Die worriedly.
