Toshiya looked around, panting as he spotted two, no. three weird looking figures; weird becoz they were standing frozen among the crowd, in the lobby. The bassist stopped right behind Kaoru, whose shoulders were held by Die. The red head looked pale, and Kaoru looked tired. He glanced at the other person, a woman.

Eh…Toshiya thought she looked a bit familiar…?

"Kaoru! we have to see the doctor!" Toshiya ignored her and placed his palm on Kaoru’s arm. The pink head turned and nodded, then he took Die’s hands, "Come! Let’s see the doc!" Die blinked and followed. "We’ll tell you what we know on the way!" the bassist spoke a bit quickly. Alisa joined her eyebrows but insisted on going with them.

"Shinya’s not his room" Kaoru began, "We knocked on the door, since the nurse was nowhere to be seen! But then as we entered, there’s noone at all!" Toshiya explained, tying up his long hair while his lover pushed a button.

"Then we ran around, and found the doctor, and Kyo" Kaoru hissed in the end. Kyo, he must have known! "And the doctor didn’t know Shinya was gone!" Toshiya exclaimed, "Can you believe that?!" he shook his head in disbelief, "Die…Die! Are you okay?!" Toshiya gasped, shaking Die’s shoulders.

Die closed his eyes, and took a deep breath, "Next time…don’t make me feel like…gosh!" he leaned forward and pushed Kaoru, "When you said Shinya’s gone…I thought he’s GONE!" Kaoru smiled sadly.

"Don’t do that again okay?! I can get a heart attack!" Die rubbed his chest. He looked a bit relief for few seconds but then,

"Where-where do you think he is?! I think we all should look for him! Not just seeing the doc!" the red head hissed and everyone watched as he pushed to ‘stop’ button of the lift. Alisa shrieked as the lift stopped abruptly, Toshiya clutched on Kaoru’s arm, gasping in shock while Kaoru stared at the other guitarist in disbelief. Thank God they were the only ones!

"Die!!! What are you doing?!"

The red head stood right in front of the door, a hand in his pocket, "What do you think I’m doing?!" he pushed the ground floor button, "I’m looking for Shinya! and I knew the last time he was seen was around the café, so Ja!" the younger guitarist walked out as the doors opened.

Toshiya looked at Kaoru, who stared at Die’s back and Alisa’s as the woman trailed off behind him.

"Nani?!" Kyo screamed.

Toshiya shook his head, "He’s around the hospital somewhere looking for Shinya! so I think we should just do the same!" Toshiya spoke furiously. Kaoru nodded, "Okay, then. I'll look around second and third floor, Kyo! You check everywhere fourth and fifth!" he was about to leave when somebody called out his name.

"Kaoru-kun! Wait!" the doc stopped him, "This is a nine storey building! And there’s nothing interesting from fourth floor to the eight! If Shinya wants to walk around, he can only be around the ground floor, first and second! Third floor is ICU and ninth floor is the roof!"

Kaoru nodded, "Okay, then I'll go join Die!" he shrugged and slammed the door. Toshiya jumped before looking at the doc weirdly, "What do you mean by ‘walking around’?"

There was no reply.

"Shinya is not healthy right? How can he be around?! Maybe we should check the bathrooms, or…stairs. Maybe he faints!" Toshiya hissed hysterically, "How can we know-" he stopped and looked at Kyo, "Unless…"

Kyo pulled his hand, "Let’s just try to find him okay?" the doc nodded, "I’ve already asked some people to look for him. That’s why I want you guys to be here! I need to talk!" Kyo looked up to the doc, "Maybe we don’t have to do that doc. Let’s just go and look for him okay? I'll call Kaoru"

Kyo took out his phone.

"When did you see him?"

Alisa looked at her watch, "Ano, around fifteen minutes ago? No. more than that! Around twenty or thirty! It’s quite long!" the woman bit her lip, "Maybe he’s no longer around here!" she looked around. They were right in front of the cafetaria. She was right. They had looked around for few minutes but Shinya wasn’t there.

Die sighed, "Well I haven’t given up! Check the lobby!" he ordered and walked towards the lift, "I'll try upstairs"

The woman nodded, "What am I doing?" she mumbled but did what he told.

"Hai. I’m just around the third floor. And guess what? Shinya was admitted here before right? ICU, and the nurse told me she saw him! Twenty minutes ago!" Kaoru stopped, "Hai. Maybe he went to cafetaria afterwards!" Kyo said something about Die, "Kyo! Listen! I don’t think Shinya’s in the lobby! Maybe he goes up.."

Kaoru stopped walking, waiting for the lift.

"Kyo…" the vocalist stopped from the other side. "Where are you now? Nani? Office? Okay! Go to Shinya’s room. He might be there already! What did the doc say?"

"…"

"Kyo! Let me talk to the doc! Hai"

"Kaoru-kun?" it was the older man’s voice. Kaoru smiled, "Did Shinya say anything when he left?"

"He promised to be back in few minutes…" came a soft reply. Kaoru knew he did that, coz Toshiya was there. And he didn’t know anything about Shinya’s condition did he? The pink head closed his eyes, "Yoshida-san…please don’t tell Toshiya what is going on. Please, let me tell him myself!"

"Hai…"

Kyo ran towards the room and stormed in. he looked at the bed, empty. He checked the bathroom, empty. He looked around the room, empty. Shinya wasn’t back yet. YET.

Die blinked and brushed his hair, looking a bit impatient and tired. The red head sighed and shook his head slowly, "Where can you be Shinya?"

"Where…"

Die leaned on the wall, feeling the world spinning around. He was sweating so much from walking around, running and panicking. He couldn’t imagine Shinya…finally waking up. Opened those eyes, and found himself in a room, with nobody except him in it! Shinya must be so scared! Die remembered how Shinya woke up at night, alone in the dark and ended up hurting a nurse!

"Shinya…where ca you be?"

Poor Shinya…he must be so scared! Nobody would hurt you anymore! Nobody! Shinya…

Die stopped. He straightened his back and felt his heart jumped a little.

How if…

How if…

Die bit his lip, and shook his head. No, no! it couldn’t be! But Shinya…Shinya wasn’t the type who might-might ended his life right there! But-

Shinya knew something had happened to him…Shinya knew he was- attacked!

The guitarist rushed towards the lift, screamed in frustration ad its doors closed and the lift went up without him. He waited for the other one but it was going down. So he decided to use the stairs.

"Ano…sumimasen…"

Kaoru turned and saw Alisa, "Hai. Do you know where Die is?"

Alisa shook her head, "Not exactly! He said he’s going upstairs!" She looked around the lobby, "He told me to check here, but Shinya-kun is nowhere!" Kaoru nodded. "You are the last one who saw him…" she smiled.

"Maybe we should call Die" she suggested. Kaoru shook his head, "No. not in the mood Die’s having. He’ll inform me if he finds Shinya. phoning him now will probably lead him to an explosion!" the woman nodded. She looked around once more. "How about the others?"

Kaoru shook his head.

Die ran up the stairs like a mad man, feeling the world spun even more. He panted heavily, but he had to do it! Maybe-maybe he was late! Maybe-

"Dammit!!! Stop doing this Die!" he smacked his own head, "Never think that Shinya might-might…" he sighed and pushed the big heavy looking door up. And Die almost fell on the ground, and the wind blew strongly as Die tried to stand up properly. He looked around, then decided to check the edge.

Die panted as he dialed a number.

"Kaoru? Die here…I’m up the roof. No, Shinya’s not here…" he heard Kaoru fell silent and a woman’s voice filled the background. The red head sighed and walked towards the door, "Where are you? Lobby? Have you checked? Okay, wait for me there ne?" Die closed the door behind him and decided to take the lift.

Kyo sat on the floor, cupping his cheeks. Some people looked at his weirdly but he ignored. Toshiya stood beside Kaoru, holding his arm while Alisa was on the phone. The doc looked around the lobby worriedly. Everyone was waiting for Die. The pink head’s phone suddenly rang and Kaoru picked it up.

"Die? Where are you?"

Everyone turned to him.

"Well, this old woman asked for help, so now I’m in the first floor, and I just missed the lift" Die sighed and walked around not sure which was to go, "And I think I’m kind of lost here…"

"Use the stairs! We need to talk to you!" Kaoru sounded a bit impatient. Die fumed, ‘okay! I think I can find the stairs…"

Die narrowed his eyes. There was a figure, just walking up the stairs and was now walking to his direction and-

Kaoru waited for a respond, "Die, still there? Die?!" Toshiya shot a worried stare. The doc approached him and all in sudden the pink head jumped. He heard the other guitarist exclaimed from the other side.

"Shinya!!!"

Everyone turned to find the person who yelled out a name. And everyone stared at this red head who stood frozen on his feet, looking startled. Everyone, including the weak looking figure who stood meters away from him. The figure people started to stare, since the red head was looking at him.

Die parted his lips in shock.

Shinya gasped.

"Shinya! Shin…" Die smiled, not believing his eyes. His lover, Shinya, awake!!! Die couldn’t help walking towards him, approaching him. Not realising that what Shinya did was backing away. Die was too happy to see Shinya’s fearful expression.

"Die…" the younger one whispered. People started to look, to pay their attention on those two. Shinya casted his eyes around, wondering why the heck were they looking at him?! Why? Something wrong with him? Why did they look at him with such a weird glint in their eyes?!

"Shinya!"

The drummer turned, and Die stood there, smiling widely.

Die…

Die!

Promise you wait for me there?

"Die…" Shinya whispered. The red head could hear it.

Heh, such a manly name, such a pretty man…

Shinya blinked.

Kaoru ran as if he never ran before and finally spotted the two figure standing few meters away from each other, with people looking at them weirdly. Kaoru stopped abruptly as he saw Shinya’s weird reaction. Toshiya almost bumped into him. Kyo sighed as he saw Shinya then looked at the doc.

Toshiya gasped as Shinya stepped backwards.

"Shinya! This is me, Die!" the red head exclaimed placing a palm on his chest. He felt his heartbeat went faster and faster. Shinya wet his lips, shaking his head. Die felt hot in his eyes, "Come here…this is me!" Die started to walk to Shinya.

Kaoru turned as he heard Toshiya mumbling something about the stairs. The guitarist joined his eyebrows and gasped instantly. If Shinya backed away few more steps…he would have fell! Toshiya gripped Kaoru’s arm tightly, "Tell that idiot not to approach him! Tell Die!!!"

Kaoru parted his lips, but couldn’t find the words.

"Kaoru!!! Can’t you see Shinya’s scared of him?!" Toshiya hissed. Kaoru gulped and walked closer to Die, "Die, the stairs! Be careful!"

Die heard it, but ignored.

"Shinya! It’s me!"

Shinya blinked and kept moving backwards. "It’s just me, Die!" the red head looked so hurt, with disbelief filling his eyes. Shinya didn’t seem to know him, didn’t seem to hear him.

"Die! Be careful!" Kaoru hissed. Toshiya shut his eyes as Shinya reached near the stairs, standing right in front of the first descending step. Die stopped. Everyone stopped. Kaoru bit his lip hard, Toshiya opened his eyes slightly. Alisa clutched her bag tightly while Kyo shot a look to the doc, who was talking with a nurse, "Get some people from downstairs! Tell them to quietly hold him from behind! He’s gonna fall any second! Quick!" the nurse nodded.

Kyo looked startled. Kaoru waited while Toshiya held his breath.

"Shin-chan…"

Shinya jerked his head up.

"Shin-chan…" he repeated the words…

Die smiled, "Hai! Shin-chan…remember?" Die took the risk by stepping forward. He was close now. So close, close enough. The red head moved his arm, offering his hand to the younger man, "Come here…Shin-chan…" the drummer stared at the hand, then back to Die.

"Die…?"

The red head nodded, "Come here…" he glanced at Shinya’s feet. Toshiya bit his lip till he could taste blood. Shinya was going to fall, any second! Kaoru held his shoulder, his lover felt really tensed. "Kaoru! please tell that baka…tell him to do something!" Kaoru shook his head. What could Die do? Stepped forward and grabbed Shinya quickly before he fell backwards?

Not a good idea…

Kaoru looked up, and realized Die was close. Really close, an arm away from Shinya! And the younger guitarist was walking step by step, approaching Shinya, who stood frozen. The drummer had a weird expression on his face. Something like longing…love…and something else!

Die gulped, as he was merely few steps away, staring at the drummer.

"Shin-chan…"

Shinya looked at him.

Shinchan…you call me Shinchan…And promise you will never cry. I won’t cry…won’t make you worry, won’t put myself in danger…

Shinya tilted his head to a side slightly. Die blinked and something fell down his cheek. The drummer stared at it confusedly. Promise me you won’t cry…the guitarist took a deep breath. His arm shook as he held it up, towards Shinya. The younger one shook his head.

"Shin-chan…take my hand…"

Shinya shook his head slowly and hugged himself, "Don’t hurt me…" he whispered. Die joined his eyebrows, "No! I’m not hurting you! I-I love you!" Shinya bit his lip, staring into Die’s eyes. His shoulders shook, "No…no…" came a mumble. Die widened his eyes as Shinya stepped back.

"SHINYA!!!"

Kaoru moved forward, Toshiya shrieked, Kyo swore and Alisa screamed while the doc gasped hearing Die yelling Shinya’s name out loud. The next thing they knew was seeing Shinya turned his head, realising the missing ground and fell backwards but the red head moved forward and managed to grab the younger one’s arm, pulling him hard.

Kaoru sighed in relief, as Die hugged Shinya possessively. The red head panted slightly, bringing Shinya’s face to his view, but the younger one had already closed his eyes, fainted. Die shut his eyes and fell down on the floor with shaky knees and heart leaping painfully again his chest.

Toshiya felt relief washed over him, Kyo rubbed his chest while Kaoru covered his face, smiling. Die looked at Shinya, and slowly touched his head, brushing his hair gently. He studied the serene expression on the pretty face, making sure there was nothing wrong with Shinya.

The doctor rushed to Die, "Be careful with his ba-" he stopped. Die had brought Shinya’s head near his, and was sobbing quietly; his face buried in the younger one’s hair. The red head hugged his lover tightly, not wanting to let go.
