GRAVITY 69

Die locked the main door and slowly walked across the living room. He stopped, made a turn and headed towards the kitchen. Opening the fridge, Die looked through what was inside. Lots of different flavoured jelly hit his eyes. He smiled, kawaii Shinchan. Then he took out a bottle of beer and closed the door.

The red head sat on the couch, thinking.

How do you feel? What’s bothering you? Let’s talk about you!

Die rolled his eyes and drank his beer. "Well, nothing is wrong with Die-san because he’s though and strong!" he spoke aloud. Then the man stood up, waking towards the window and looked outside, with the bottle in his right hand. He could see his own face on the mirror.

Horrible

Then he saw Shinya. The pretty eyes, quiet face, pouty lips…then the long cut on his back. Die’s eyes fluttered close, jerking his head up he tapped his heel on the floor. He needed to smoke, but it was surely banned in here. And he couldn’t go out, can’t leave Shinya alone.

Shinya…

Dai…it was dark and cold…yet there were so many people…

Die’s eyes slit in anger, gripping the bottle tightly he growled before throwing the beer bottle as hard as he could. It hit the wall and was mashed into pieces. And such a loud sound it made; it hurt his ears sending pain to his eyes and panged his heart.

Shinya

Die sat on the bed carefully, staring at the sleeping form. Shinya looked so peaceful so innocent.

He is still so young! You think there are many rockers younger than Shinya, yeah! There ARE! But Shinya, he’s just really young! REALLY young! Die smiled to himself, remembering what Yoshiki once said. And that young man he talked about, belonged to him, to Die!

The red head lay on his stomach and idly began to play with Shinya’s hair. He touched the delicate looking cheek, no more cuts, but there was a bruise near the eye, and there went another smaller one, on the right side of his forehead. And Die began to wonder how the heck they did it to him?

You knew Die…

Die traced a finger down to Shinya’s lips. There was quite a deep cut at the corner. The man licked his own lip, as if trying to make sure it was Shinya’s lips not his, coz he could feel the pain. Then slowly, he began moving along Shinya’s neck, that ever so smooth neck, but now Die could see a bruise, right under Shinya’s right ear. And a bite mark, a really red hickey.

Die touched Shinya’s shoulder, feeling the wool material of his sweater. And he smiled, as if he could touch the smooth skin of Shinya’s. Yeah. He could feel everything Shinya felt. Every pain, every joy, every single emotion. Die smiled, and slowly, tenderly began to feel Shinya’s arm. He shut his eyes, remembering what he had seen.

The small cuts, the long cut, the small bruises and the hickey …he saw them in the bathroom, when Shinya took his shirt off. He touched them when Shinya asked him to help. And he felt the long cut as he brushed his palm against it. He also felt the pain when Shinya winced as the water touched his body. And he saw the blood trickled down the white tiles when Shinya accidentally scrubbed a wound.

He saw with his own eyes, felt with his own hands. He heard it with his own ears when Shinya whimpered in his arms when his hug was too tight. Die shut his eyes. He could feel the pain, and he could feel the grief.

Die rested his head on the bed, right beside Shinya’s; staring at his love breathing slowly.

They were two out of five…

The words were in his head, still.

Shinya might tell you what exactly happened!

Die sighed and shut his eyes. He remembered that time, just now, while they were on the bed, just like this. Shinya had called his name few times, then suddenly spoke in a clear voice.

I remember the one in green coat called me names…

Die touched the tip of Shinya’s nose, then moved up touching his temple.

All of them wanted to…but the leader said no. Nobody could have it, except him. Die remembered how Shinya had stopped there. Sometimes he talked and stopped abruptly. Maybe he needed to take a breath. Or maybe he winced slightly at the pain he felt on his back. Die didn’t say anything that time, merely waiting and hugging the younger one tightly.

The rest of them left, finding another…catch

Die remembered how Shinya moved his head and stared at him. Then the drummer looked away and fell silent for a long while before continuing.

They did it twice…four times…and I think it’s the leader who cut my back…they laid me on the ground and somebody took out-

Die shut his eyes, hugging Shinya tightly. He didn’t say anything because he couldn’t say anything. So Die merely hugged Shinya tightly, and that was when Shinya whimpered in pain. But the younger one wanted him to do so. He hugged Die back, tightly.

All those flashback, all the painful images disappeared as he opened his eyes. Die lifted them up, and was greeted by the view of Shinya, sleeping on the bed, his bed. And he was relieved. Satisfied, but his vision blurred and the pain was still haunting him. How could Shinya…how could he say it…just like that?!

Die looked at Shinya, and held his hand tightly. The young man was still asleep very peacefully, as if nothing had happened, as if nothing in the world mattered. The red head gave him a kiss on the forehead, before taking in Shinya’s scent slowly. Then he got up, quietly walking away from the bed.

Die sat down on the chair in his usual corner. His hands were busy trying to tear the cig pack coz he had been trying for the past twenty seconds but still couldn’t get a stick out. The glass was right in front of him, on the bar, untouched. But how many came before that…it was uncountable.

The red head snickered as he managed to tear the paper off and took out a cig with his hands. He finished the drink in a shot and signed for another glass. The bartender shook his head, trying not to count how much had the red head drunk! Die nodded and held his glass up as the old guy gave him another one.

Then somebody pushed him, and Die yelled, growled and pulled the person’s shirt and got up.

"Hey! Easy! Easy…" he heard laughter. Die narrowed his eyes

"You…"

"Ha! That was funny!" J hit the table hard, "If Sugi sees you doing that, he’ll either kill you or himself!" Die smirk holding his drink up to the older man "But it wasn’t as much fun as THIS one!" Die watched with interest as J got up from his chair and was suddenly pressing his body close and pulled Die’s shirt with fist in the air.

"Stop!" a bartender yelled at them and pushed J away from the red head, "No fight here!" Die blinked while J suddenly laughed so hard that he fell on the floor, "Oh Gosh! Isn’t it so hilarious?! It’s not even his business not even his face I’m hitting! And he’s the one getting busy!!!" he laughed heartily, as if it was the funniest thing ever happened on earth.

Die frowned, "Whatever…"

J got up, finally, and sat on his chair. He glanced at Die and stared at him fondly, "Do you want me to…teach you something?" his voice all husky and mysterious. Die raised an eyebrow as J leaned closer staring at him with a slight smile on his face. The red head looked amused, "What? English?"

J blinked innocently stupid before replying, "Eh…I can teach you that too, but…this one is different!"

Die rolled his eyes, "What?"

"Fun…" J simply replied.

Die chuckled, "Oh yes!" he laughed. How could he possibly have fun with a stupid drunk bassist?

J cleared his throat, suddenly went all serious and deep, "I'll teach you! you’ll be a good boy. Last time I didn’t get the chance to, so now…"

Die narrowed his eyes at J

"Wanna join me?"

Die pouted
