The doorbell rung few times. Kyo rushed from his bedroom cursing his slippers as they slowed him down. Somebody knocked the door loudly. Kyo yelled louder than the knock, "Okay! Coming!…who the heck is that knocking so loud?!!!" he sulked but when he opened the door, his face turned red.
"Konban wa" Kaoru nodded slightly looking at Kyo. The small guy smiled, "what a surprise! What are you doing here?" Kyo let him in. Kaoru took his shoes off and the vocalist told him to slip in those purple slippers. Kyo noticed Kaoru’s new shoes.
"Hey! New shoes!" Kyo said out loud looking at them. Kaoru frowned, "They’re quite cheap! Shinya puked on my old ones and they were so expensive" he smiled remembering that night. Kaoru sat on the couch, looking around. "This place looks like you!" Kyo laughed, "It’s my place…" suddenly he stopped, "And Toshiya’s" Kyo said softly.
"Is he here?" Kaoru looked at the roses on the table. He played with the cushion waiting for Kyo’s reply. Kyo raised an eyebrow. He didn’t know what would happen, but he knew that it was good Kaoru had decided to talk to Toshiya. Kyo smiled, "He’s out…" with Die, Kyo bit his lip. Kaoru nodded slowly, he felt really nervous.
"I think I’ll wait for him" Kaoru sighed, but for how long? Kyo panicked, Uh oh! How if Toshiya did something stupid like inviting Die…Kaoru didn’t notice Kyo’s pale face. The guitarist was too busy with his thoughts. He had decided to talk to Toshiya. He wanted to ask about Toshiya’s feeling about him. He wanted to know if Toshiya only flirt with him…or… he sighed again. The day he found Toshiya on Die’s bed; Kaoru quickly shook his head. Nothing happened that night. What he saw wasn’t what happened.
Kaoru leaned back on the couch; he felt really tired. He was happy when Kyo told him the truth, but only for few minutes. He loved Toshiya…he didn’t even know when he started to…and when he saw them kissing with his own eyes…Kaoru felt stupid!
He doesn’t like me at all! He kissed Die!
The kiss was beautiful. It wasn’t a passionate kiss or a rough one…but it was a slow…beautiful kiss. Toshiya seemed to enjoy it so much…Kaoru saw how Die held Toshiya face while kissing him, and how Toshiya responded by parting his lips when Die’s finger gently stroke his face…Toshiya looked so…happy! He looked so calm and…so different…and so natural! Kaoru closed his eyes…if only he had the chance to kiss Toshiya…he promised himself he would do it better than how Die did. But Toshiya wouldn’t let him…
"Kaoru-san, are you sure you want to wait?" Kyo asked carefully sitting beside him. He jumped as Kyo touched his arm gently. He nodded, "Hai…"
"Maybe it will take long…" Toshiya had told Kyo that he would probably come back late…he had something really important to do…with Die! But what? He didn’t tell Kyo. When Kyo asked Die, the guitarist only smiled slightly.
Kaoru rested his chin on his small fingers, "I’ll wait…I have to talk to him before I change my mind!" he was scared he wouldn’t had the guts to ask Toshiya again next time. Kyo didn’t reply. He didn’t really know what to say.
They sat there for few minutes. Kyo turned the TV on before he fell asleep on the couch. Kaoru sighed, there was nothing interesting. Kyo turned the volume up, anything to keep him awake would do!
"Kyo, turn it off. Nothing interesting" Kaoru finally said. Kyo pouted and turned the TV off.
"I want to ask you something" Kaoru broke the silence. Kyo raised an eyebrow, Uh-oh…
Kaoru grabbed the cushion in front of him, "You know whatever happened that night right?" Kyo nodded quickly.
"What happened to Shinya?" Kaoru asked carefully. Kyo gasped and quickly shook his head, "I can’t really tell you that!" Kyo got up from the couch. Kaoru looked at him confusedly.
"Why?" Kaoru threw him a suspicious look. Kyo cleared his throat, "I know somebody…-seduced- him" Kyo emphasized the word in purpose. He didn’t want Kaoru to think it was something –bad-; instead Shinya enjoyed it pretty much…Kaoru raised an eyebrow, "How do you know?"
Kyo smiled wickedly, "I was there….the whole time…"
Kaoru sighed, he shook his head slowly, "It was Die right? He made up that crap about woman…" Kyo shook his head, "Iie!" Kaoru joined his eyebrow, he jerked his head up looking at Kyo’s eyes, "What do you mean?"
Kyo only smiled, he walked towards the door, "The woman was there to see me…think about it Kaoru!" Kaoru got up quickly, "About what?" he said aloud but Kyo quickly closed the door behind him. He had left Kaoru alone in the house waiting for Toshiya to come back! Panic rushed to him, What do I tell Toshiya when he sees me in here?!
Kaoru waited for hours but Toshiya didn’t come back…at all. Where is he? Kaoru felt even more nervous. So he got up and decided to walk around. Anything to kill the time…Kaoru went into the kitchen poured a glass of ocha for himself. He walked around studying the place. Then he sat down watching TV…but nothing interest him. He heard rain poured down from the sky. It’s raining heavily outside…where is he?! So he got up again nervously walking around waiting for the bassist. Finally he stopped, right in front of Kyo’s room when suddenly he heard somebody opening the door. He widened his eyes, Uh-oh…
"Hey Die, I don’t think Kyo’s here!" Kaoru held his breath. It was Toshiya’s voice calling out for Die! Die! Kaoru panicked, he quickly opened the room’s door and entered. He closed the door carefully. Die! It was Die! Always him! Kaoru cursed himself…he should’ve known!!! And what will they do now…no one here except them…they don’t know I’m here!
"Are you okay?" Kaoru heard somebody throwing himself on the couch. It was Die asking Toshiya. He could hear what they talk about…Kaoru wanted to know…so he placed his ear carefully near the door.
"Die…hug me…" Toshiya said weakly. Kaoru closed his eyes…
Silence filled the room for a while; Kaoru bit his lower lip, what are they doing? Making out? He sighed softly and turned around. He gasped seeing a huge picture of Toshiya on the wall. It looked more like a poster. Kaoru joined his eyebrows…he looked around the room. Blue blanket, blue chair, blue bed sheets…Toshiya’s room? Even if almost everything wasn’t blue, Kaoru knew this room was too tidy to be Kyo’s. Kaoru covered his face…how if they decide to do it here?! In his room?
Kaoru walked nervously looking for a window or a hiding place, suddenly he stopped. He heard somebody yelling outside, so he leaned back on the wall trying to listen to the conversation. He heard somebody throwing something…Kaoru bit his lower lip, don’t tell me they’re…
"Toshiya…enough!" Die yelled at the bassist. Kaoru joined his eyebrows. Then he heard the bassist yelled really loud,
"Kaoru…STUPID!!! I’ve told you! I had that feeling…I’ve told you die!" Toshiya threw a cushion on the floor. He gasped as Die held his wrist, "Stop it! What’s wrong with you?!"
"Kaoru! Where the hell is he?! I mean…it’s raining so hard and where the hell can he be?!!!!" Toshiya kicked the table in front of him. Die sighed and shook his head. "Don’t ask me…I was there with you…"
"Maybe Shinya’s place!" Toshiya sulked, Die raised an eyebrow, "THAT…is something else" he nibbled his lip softly trying not to smile. He frowned as Toshiya sniffed.
"Toshiya…we’ll talk to him…not today maybe tomorrow…eventually…" he sat down beside Toshiya who pouted and tried really hard not to cry. Die patted his shoulder, "He should know you really like him…" then smiled as Toshiya leaned on his chest.
Toshiya?
"Why isn’t he at home?" Toshiya asked in weak voice, but it was loud enough for Kaoru to hear. "We’ve waited since dinner time…and now…it’s almost ten!" Die stroked his hair gently, "Don’t worry…as you said before…old men can’t get far away from home…you’ll see him tomorrow"
"But…but…I can’t even stand one more minute without telling him that I love him so much…" Toshiya pulled away from Die’s arms and looked at the guitarist, "And he should know there’s nothing between us!!!" Die nodded agreeing with the young man, "I know…I know…calm down! Kaoru won’t go really far…he’s probably somewhere downtown…don’t worry! I’ll be with you!" Die held Toshiya’s hands tightly. (Oh yes…he’s nowhere far at all-L7)
Kaoru leaned on the wall with eyes closed. Only God knew how much he wanted to hear that…he had a smile on his face, a smile of relief…
"He had been trying to tell me what love was…I only realized it after he walked away!" Toshiya sniffed loudly. Die laughed, "Look at you! don’t worry about that!" Silence filled the room for a while. The guitarist looked around, "Where can Kyo be right now?" he seemed to have something else in mind.
"Maybe Shinya’s place!" Toshiya pouted. Die raised an eyebrow, "Why Shinya?" Die smiled mischievously. Toshiya seemed to have idea about the drummer. By this time, Kaoru was still smiling to himself thinking about his love…but suddenly he jumped as he heard somebody yelled.
"NANI?! He told you that?! What kind of crap is that?!!!!" Kaoru joined his eyebrows, What the heck did Toshiya told Die?
"He didn’t tell me…but he was throwing hints away!" Toshiya leaned down on the couch as Die kneeled on it in front of him. The guitarist looked so scary…and he was shock! "Come on Die…Kyo did it! What’s with you and Shinya?!" Kaoru raised an eyebrow.
"Kyo screw Shinya? That’s funny!" Die laughed loudly and fell on the floor. Toshiya glared at him. Kaoru forgot to breathe and blink. His eyes were wide opened. Kyo?! Kyo?!
Silence filled the apartment again. Kaoru sighed, he wanted to see Toshiya and talk to him. He wanted Toshiya to know how much he loved him…but he couldn’t just get out of the room! Die was there too and he didn’t want it!
"I think I should go" Die got up from the couch. Kaoru smiled cheerfully. Toshiya raised an eyebrow. Die smiled at him, "It’s getting late…you need sleep" Kaoru smiled slightly…at least Die cared about Toshiya…Kaoru pouted, he didn’t want to admit that Die wasn’t that bad…
"I see…old men can’t go far from home…are you going back to your apartment?" Toshiya smiled teasing Die. Die rolled his eyes; he had something in mind…something fun. Toshiya raised an eyebrow seeing Die’s expression and grinned wickedly,
"Where are you going?" he asked but Die only stared at him for a while.
"My kitten’s place" Die finally replied. Toshiya laughed and kicked him. Kaoru joined his eyebrows, Kitten? Toshiya picked up a cushion and threw it to Die, "You little bastard! Don’t you dare to get in another trouble! You’re already in a huge trouble here…with me…" he ended the sentence softly. Kaoru winced; he really wanted to have Toshiya in his arms, telling him that he wasn’t in trouble…anymore.
Die stood up laughing, "that’s not trouble at all Toshiya. That’s misunderstanding" Toshiya pouted and kicked Die’s legs. Die screamed in pain, "What kitten? Let me guess! A kitten that has a pet dog!" Toshiya asked out loud. Kaoru widened his eyes…which kitten has a pet dog? (Doh!) Suddenly he gasped, Oh no! Shinya? Kaoru made a face, kitten?
"Oyasuminasai…Toshiya" Die walked towards the door followed by Toshiya. The bassist held the door,
"Behave Die!" Kaoru bit his lower lip nervously, he was worried about Shinya now.
Die turned back looking at Toshiya, ‘Behave? What’s that?"
Toshiya glared at him and locked the door. Kaoru straightened his back, and gulped. The time had come! Toshiya would enter the room…and…he would see him…Kaoru felt even more nervous now knowing Toshiya’s heart was only for him. He blushed furiously under the dim light.
Great! Now I’m not scared but shy!
Toshiya picked up the cushion he had thrown just now and placed it on the couch. He took off his jacket and pinned his long hair up showing his long smooth neck. But suddenly he stared at the table. There was a glass of half finished ocha on it. Toshiya joined his eyebrows; he didn’t notice it just now…but who drank it? He turned around looking at Kyo’s room. Maybe Kyo was in…maybe he was hiding the whole time in the room…listening to the conversation…
Toshiya quickly walked towards the door and opened it widely. He pouted, as the room was empty. He rushed to the kitchen, yelling "Kyo! If I find you, you die!!!" Kaoru widened his eyes, "Kyo! How many times have I told you not to hide?!" Toshiya yelled impatiently and walked around the apartment looking for the small guy.
Kaoru didn’t know what to do, there was no place to hide in the room and Toshiya would kill him if he found him in his room!
Toshiya sighed, he gave up after checking for Kyo’s shoes. They were missing…the vocalist must’ve gone out! Nevermind! I’ll just sleep! He unbuttoned his shirt slowly walking towards his bedroom. Kaoru quickly hid behind the door as it opened. He heard Toshiya sighed. The bassist didn’t look back as he closed the door lazily. Kaoru saw Toshiya’s long smooth neck (Hm…) and stared at Toshiya’s feature through the dim light. Kaoru smiled to himself, he’s so beautiful…
As Toshiya was about to take his shirt off, a cold hand touched his neck. He jumped, gasped, shrieked, screamed, and quickly realized someone was behind him. He quickly grabbed the person’s arm and with all his strength threw the person down the floor.
"Ipon!!!" Toshiya yelled happily throwing his arms in the air.
"Ouch!!!" somebody whimpered in the dark. Toshiya blinked few times…he swore he’d heard that voice before. When he realized whose voice sounded like that groan, he blushed telling himself it was a dream…But when he looked down,
"Huh?"
