Hide And Seek

"I don't want to," Shinya said, stubbornly.
"Why not?" Die asked, "It's been a hectic day and we could use a little
fun and excitement. Think about it! When was the last time you played Hide
and Seek? Especially in the dark? It'd make it more interesting! A little
more scary, too."
"It's silly." Shinya said, sulkily and crossed his arms. He glared into
the corner of a room. "Besides, I'm tired. I want to go home."
"Don't you want to bond as band?" Kaoru asked.
"We've done enough bonding. I know all of you too well. I wish I
didn't."
"Why do you always have to spoil the fun, Shin-chan?" Die asked, kneeling
on the side of Shinya's drumset. He made himself as small as he could so
that his eyes peeked over a floor tom (Matrim tries to explain: That's one
of the drums on the side--that's not connected to rest of the drumset--it
makes a low sound...y'know--those drums..) and blinked innocently up at
Shinya. The drummer gave a faint smile. Die looked like a red puffball
with eyes.
"Fine, I'll go."
Die jumped up quickly, startling Kaoru and Shinya and cheered. "Alright,
now all we have to do is convince Sleepy and Bratty to come with us."
"Come with you where? And I'm not bratty!" Toshiya appeared into the
room, preparing to go home.
"Do you want to play Hide and Seek in the dark with us?" Die asked.
Toshiya stared at Die, strangely, "You mean, you actually convinced those
two to go with you?"
"Hey, I want to have some fun, too, you know," Kaoru said, indignantly.
"Hounto ni? I thought old men like you couldn't even understand the
aspect of fun--too much stress for your heart." Toshiya teased and Kaoru
sighed. He was used to this kind of treatment. "Okay, but on one
condition." He said as he smiled and leaned against the wall.
"Nani?" Die, Shinya and Kaoru asked.
Toshiya continued to smile and closed his eyes innocently, "I'll tell you
once you get Kyo into the game."
"What game?" Kyo asked. "And why are you all still here, I thought you
were going home?"
"Do you want to play Hide and Seek in the dark with us?" Die asked.
Kyo looked at Die, to Toshiya, to Kaoru and then to Shinya, who shrugged.
"Is there a catch?"
Toshiya continued to smile. "No, no catch..." Die replied, "I just
thought it'd be fun...besides no one wants to go drinking with me."
"Oh. Okay."
"Toshiya? What was your condition?" Kaoru asked.
"What condition?" Kyo asked.
Shinya explained, "Toshiya said he would only play on one condition and
he wouldn't say what it was until you said you'd play, too."
Kyo and Shinya stared at each other and said at the same time, "You know,
I have bad feeling about this..."
"The condition is," Toshiya said, finally opening his eyes but not
letting that gods-be-damned smirk on his face slip, "That we play it my
way."
The other four members of Dir en Grey visibly paled, "And what is your
way?" They asked, haltingly.
"Strip Hide and Seek."
"NANI?!!" They all shouted out. Kaoru sputtered out, "There's no such
thing!! You're just making that up so we won't play! You never wanted to
play in the first place!"
"Oh, I want to play, Kaoru," Toshiya said, in a way that would give most
people a nosebleed, "I really do want to play." The other four members
looked at him, at each other then looked away quickly.
"Ano..." Shinya began as he hastily stood and grabbed his bag, "I--change
my mind, I'm going home."
"Me, too!" Kyo said a little too quickly and the two sprinted for the
door. Toshiya anticipated this and was there before they could even touch
the doorknob. He pouted at them. They stepped back. His lip quivered and
his eyes watered. Kyo and Shinya whimpered, half in despair for themselves
and pity for Toshiya. Kyo sighed. "Okay, how do we play?"
Toshiya smiled, his pout and tears gone. "The one who gets tagged before
getting to the safety of the base takes off an item of clothing and becomes
the next Seeker. And necklaces and bracelets don't count. Safety pins
don't count either."
"Sounds simple," Shinya said out loud. He was pretty sure he'd still have
all of his clothes on. He'd probably hide well and run quickly in fear.
"Everybody in?" Toshiya asked. Die's idea had suddenly turned into
something totally opposite from what he had intended.
"You want to play it here?" Kaoru asked.
"Why not? It's a huge studio."
"Demo--" Kaoru began.
"Yoshiki left us the keys..."
"Demo--" Die tried.
"No one's around."
"Fine," the two guitarists managed. Shinya shook his head. It was going
to be one hell of a night.
--five minutes later--
"Ow!"
"Sumimasen! Didn't know you were hiding there!"
"Ssh! It's okay. You can't see anything in here."
"Why don't you turn on the light?"
"Oh, yeah, and have Toshiya catch me naked? You must be kidding!" Shinya
hissed back and rubbed his knee where Kaoru had kicked him.
"You're not naked yet. None of us are." The older man pointed out.
"I don't want to be." Shinya replied, blushing furiously in the dark.
They hid out in the bathroom of the studio with the lights off. The base
was Shinya's drumset. The bathroom was far from it. Well, not really that
far but considering the circumstances, it felt far. "Do you know if he's
done counting, yet?" Shinya asked.
"Iie. I have no idea. I wonder where Kyo and Die are hiding?"
--elsewhere--
"This is my hiding spot! Go away!" Kyo pushed at Die's back with his
foot but the guitarist ignored him.
"Stop being so selfish, you little devil!" Die snarled and shoved Kyo
over. They hid under the pool table in the rec area which was usually off
limits to them when they were working. Yoshiki's orders. "Now, shut up
before he finds us."
Kyo made a noise of disgust, "Oh, you wouldn't mind. You'd gladly strip
off your shirt for him!"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing. You mean you wouldn't?" Kyo asked, a little shocked.
"Ano..."
"Yeah, you would. Don't worry about it, though. I would, too. You just
can't let him know that...playing hard to get drives him crazy. It keeps
him on his toes." Kyo sighed. "I need a cigarette."
"You just had one five minutes ago!"
"Seven minutes ago." Kyo corrected. "And this is special. I need a
cigarette. It helps me to think when I want to trick Toshiya."
"READY OR NOT--HERE I COME!!" Toshiya's voice rang out and Die and Kyo
moaned and instinctively moved closer together. Then they looked at each
other, blushed and looked away.
"This is driving me crazy," Kaoru whispered.
"I'm scared." Shinya admitted. Kaoru started. Shinya didn't usually
admit to things. "I don't know why I am and I don't know why I feel--"
"Like you want him to catch you?" Kaoru guessed.
There was a pause and then, "Hai," came the faint whisper.
"We'll run out together, then." Kaoru whispered. "So, two of us will be
half naked and uncomfortable instead of one." He quieted down as soon as
Toshiya's footsteps echoed down the main hall bathroom but instead, turned
off to another hall rather than to the one that lead to the bathroom. Kaoru
grabbed Shinya's hand, opened the bathroom door quickly and silently and ran
down the other way to the studio with Shinya's drumset in it. He ignored
the noise their footsteps made and reached the drumset, swinging Shinya
around so that both their hands touched it. Toshiya came into view five
seconds later and cursed, then disappeared after Die and Kyo. The other two
men gave a sigh of relief and leaned against each other for support. Kaoru
wrapped his arms around Shinya involuntarily.
"That's it! I can't take it anymore!" Kyo said suddenly. He crawled out
from under the pool table as Die reached for his shirt.
"Chotto! He might get you!"
"And he might not! I just heard running! I think he's busy with Kaoru
and Shinya." He slapped Die's hands away, threw open the door and ran for
Shinya's drumset. Die winced as he heard Kyo fall. Apparently, Toshiya had
been hiding and tripped him.
"Tag! You're it! Now, strip!" Toshiya said, triumphantly.
"Totchi!" Kyo groaned, "You're so mean! You didn't have to hurt me!"
Toshiya didn't reply as Kyo asked, "Alright, what do you want?"
"The shirt. Take it off. Now!"
There was mischievous laugh, "Why don't you do it?"
"Okay." There was a slight struggle as Kyo screamed and Die choked back
laughter. "Don't act so shocked, Kyo, you knew I was going to do it. Die,
come out!! Kyo's it!"
Die crawled out from under the pool table and walked into the hall. Kyo
lay on his back without his shirt which was now in Toshiya's possession.
Two buttons had been ripped off in the process. He began to laugh again as
he made his way to Shinya's drumset with Toshiya and Kyo in tow. "Kyo looks
so kawaii!" he said even though he knew the singer hated it. Kyo glared at
him. Die raised his eyebrows as he saw Kaoru embracing Shinya but said
nothing. Toshiya waved Kyo's shirt in the air like it was a victory banner.
--ten minutes later--
Kaoru was without his shirt, Kyo was down to his boxers (after removing
his socks), Die was without his pants (but still had his shirt), Shinya was
missing his jacket (he ran and hid too well), and Toshiya was missing his
skirt. It was now Kaoru's turn again and he was determined to even the
score. He wanted to catch Shinya, the one fully clothed. Their idea of
teamwork had failed when they hid in two different places, expecting the
other to know where the other one was. I want him naked, dammit, came a
thought, it's not fair to the rest of us if he holds out on us.
Little did he know that he wasn't the only one thinking those thoughts.
"Ne, Shin-chan...why are you the only one still wearing his clothes?"
Kyo asked.
"Because I have patience?"
"Maybe he doesn't want to share his loveliness with the world." Toshiya
suggested. They hid in the storage closet of the studio. It was dark but
Shinya knew that Toshiya was on his right and that Kyo was on his left. He
blushed at Toshiya's remark. Arms wrapped around his neck just as Toshiya
said, "But, Shin-chan, you shouldn't be so selfish...sharing is caring, you
know."
"Ano..." A soft kiss on his neck interrupted his train of thought and
made him forget what he was about to say.
"Learn to take your own advice, Totchi," Kyo snapped and Shinya jumped as
Kyo's hands slid up under his shirt. "Shin-chan, you have nice soft
skin..."
"Ano..." Shinya began but a finger went to his lips.
"Enough talk," Toshiya said in his ear. Hands pressed down on Shinya's
shoulders, making him lie back. "Tag. You're it. Now strip."
"But you're not--"
"You heard the man. Shut up." Kyo said, as someone took off Shinya's
shirt. There was soft noise as it landed elsewhere. Someone--Toshiya, it
smelled like him, kissed him on the mouth--long and deep and passionate. It
ended and Shinya gasped for breath just as someone else decided to kiss him.
It was Kyo. Toshiya tugged at Shinya's pants and began to unbutton it.
Shinya tried to squirm away but stopped as soon as Toshiya sat on his legs.
His pants were pulled down roughly as well as his underwear and Shinya
whimpered into the kiss. "Ssh..Shin-chan...this won't hurt a bit."
"Quite the contrary," Toshiya added and Shinya gasped as Toshiya licked
his hardening length. Kyo covered Shinya's mouth in order to silence him,
kissing him hard. His hand trailed gently down Shinya's chest. Shinya's
moans came frequently as Toshiya's tongue teased him and gasped again as
Toshiya took him into his mouth. Shinya closed his eyes and threw back his
head as Kyo began to lightly nip him on the neck.
"Toshiya...unhh...no, please...Kyo..."
"Sshh." came the response.
Shinya shook his head even though he knew the others wouldn't be able to
see it. "No. No. It's not...fair...stop..."
"This is your punishment for being so mean." Kyo told him. "Take it like
a good little boy."
Shinya bit his lip helplessly and cried out as he came. He felt a
soothing dizziness about it all as he heard Toshiya kiss Kyo. "That's what
he tastes like." Toshiya said after a long while.
"He's been doing more than holding out on us..."
There was a pause. "Quick, dress him before Kaoru comes in. We're still
playing Hide and Seek remember?"
"I heard him. I think that was him." Kaoru thought out loud. A sudden
slam of a door caught his attention and he ran after Kyo and Toshiya who
dove for Shinya's drumset and giggled at Kaoru's frustration. He shook his
head and then asked, "Did you two hear someone moaning--kind of sounded like
Shinya?"
They smiled at each other then shook thier heads. "No."
Kaoru sighed and went off to search for Shinya and Die.
