Well... where to begin? ........Yoshiki you say? Good, because that's who I was going to say as well! Amazing, ne? Yoshiki owns Extasy Records, a recording company that just paired up with Warner Brothers to produce new bands. Extasy also produced bands such as GLAY and Dir en Grey (some singles). He was the main crossdresser in X and to tell you the truth I thought he was a woman when I first saw him... but everyone makes that mistake... right? On to hide. There is really nothing you can say about him that would explain how inspiring he was to the J-rock world. He had many, many fans and nost current J-rockers held him as an idol. On May 2, 1998, hide was found with a towel wrapped around his neck in his apartment. He had hung himself at the age of 33. At the time sources say he was drunk, but that still doesn't explain why someone with so much going for them would commit suicide. The entire music world will miss him always. Well, beside the fact I think he is the most unappriciated J-rocker ever. He never seemed, to me, to be liked very much and was always over shadowed by the other members. That's okay Pata, I still love you. ^_^ Toshi was the vocalist and co-founder of X. He and Yoshiki have been friends since they were little children (and I mean since like age 7). But Toshi has changed so much since Remuria (see Toshi Profile), that he and Yoshiki hardly talk anymore. Heath, the youngest of the group, played bass. Heath replaced Taiji when Taiji "left" the band in 1993. (Taiji had no choice in the matter, but I'm not going to get into that.)
X-Japan disbanded in 1997.
Another note: Taiji is not dead. -_-;;;; I have been hearing rumors all over the place about Taiji being dead. He's not. He is in a band called 'Cloud Nine' and is nice and healthy.
