This is an aftermarket fiberglass box in NEW condition, unpainted. The mounting holes are pre-drilled and it's ready to bolt on. This is styled after 1984-1988 short boxes. The mounting holes for 1979-1995 short box 2WD and 4WD pickups are the same, so you can actually install this on any of these year short bed pickups, provided you use the 1984-1988 tail lights. It will NOT fit long box pickups as the wheel well will be in the wrong spot and your tires will rub. I do not know if this will fit a Tacoma.
The wheel well opening is stock, and you can mount aftermarket flares to this box such as the Warn 4xFlares or Bushwacker flares. The lower rockers are also the same as stock, and you can still install aftermarket mirrored rocker panels. The bed floor is very strong, and I wouldn't be afraid to haul with it.
