This show was performed while Linda was promoting her last solo album After
Hours. This show was a few years before she became the super-mega-producer
she now is (Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lisa Marie Presley, Courtney Love,
among others).
This is a fun show. Linda is a superstar but she also comes across as very human.
Not some stuck up bitch dyke that doesn't have time for anyone. Shis is obviously
very relaxed and enjoying her band and the show. There is some interesting banter on this
cd between Linda and the audience especially when an audience member requests
Train but the band doesn't know it. Also at one point, she recognizes that
the show is being taped and she asks for a copy!
And you'll want this show just for the closing song anyway. Her voice is
perfect for the Led Zep cover song and she's deep into this song and lyrics.
It sent chills up/down my spine!
