PAIGE DAVIS

BIO

Paige Davis is the host of Trading Spaces. Each week, Paige brings her unique brand of enthusiasm and unflappable energy to the popular series, helping homeowners from the first key swap to the final, stunning reveal of their brand new room. Along the way, Paige offers encouragement to the rookie redesigners. Paige has hosted Trading Spaces since its second season premiere in 2001.

At age 13, Paige found her mother's "West Side Story" album and has been dancing and entertaining ever since. Paige is a graduate of the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky and Meadow School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. After getting her start in summer stock and regional theater, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked steadily in commercials and videos for both consumer and corporate audiences. She even toured with the Beach Boys as a dancer, all the while continuing to train in voice and theatre. Her big break came when she landed the role of Babette in the national touring company of Broadway's Beauty and the Beast. The two-and-a-half year tour gave her the stepping stone she needed to begin her career in New York. Her passion for the stage continues, including a one-week guest stint with the touring production of The Vagina Monologues and her upcoming performance as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.

Trading Spaces allows her to bring her genuine energy and infectious sense of fun to an audience of millions each week. What Paige loves about the show is its human interest element - the reactions of the homeowners, whether tears of joy or horror, is what she feels keep viewers tuning in by the millions week after week. Her favorite part of the show, of course, is the moment before the reveal.

As host of Trading Spaces, Paige has made many national media appearances including The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Wayne Brady Show, Celebrity Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares, CNN and Entertainment Tonight to name a few. In print, she has appeared twice on the cover of TV Guide, the front page of USA Today, and also in People, Good Housekeeping, Glamour, Ladies' Home Journal, SELF, Entertainment Weekly, Travel & Leisure, Rolling Stone, and countless others. In August 2003, she released her first book, Paige by Paige: A Year of Trading Spaces, a chronicle of working on the show published by Meredith.

When she's not busy interacting with homeowners, acting on the nation's stages, or appearing in media, she resides in Manhattan with her husband, stage actor Patrick Page. (TS Website)
