Jug Bay
Up

This is a popular winter destination due to shelter from the wind and good access roads and parking

Basic Conditions:

Accessible trailer parking on an open field at the back of the boat ramp lot.  An easy turn around, and enough room for your entire club to come along.

Enter the parking area and bear right; the field is at the top of the circle-around.

Trails are hard packed surface, nicely shaded and pretty well marked.  There are several "loops" that make for an enjoyable time.  At times you cross park roads and other hiking trails.

Potential Hazards:

The parking area can be quite crowded on weekends during fishing season

Road crossings at several points along the trails

Some trail areas can wash out after heavy rainfalls
