The Curly Hair is a very attractive spider and gets fairly large. They are pretty docile, but we have had a lot of problems with the urticating hairs from this particular species. They bothered my uncle Paul a great deal, so he gave the spider to me. From what we have read, they are one of the worst hair kickers and have given us the most discomfort. They are very good eaters and grow fairly large. Ours seems to have grown a bit darker in color after its last molt but still will kick hairs if provoked.
