Kathryn Janeway
Behind the Curtain
Post-Endgame. "She's surprised the weight doesn't bring it all crashing down."
The Last Word
"It’s just something in you, something a little cocky, a little insane." Kathryn Janeway reflects on what made her. (Subtext!)
The Captain
Post-Endgame. Janeway intereferes in a conflict. This time there's no one one to remind them that she's the captain.
J/7
Propriety and Desire
New. I think that, in the heat of the moment aboard Arturis' ship, Janeway misspoke. This continues where "Hope and Fear" left off. (Do you think that is too early for a J/7 story? I had my doubts but the temptation was too much to resist. ::grin::) While familiarity with that episode should enhance this story, the story may be understood without having seen HaF. I'm already working on a companion piece to follow this one.
The Rod and the Staff
New. Post-ep to "Good Shepherd," continuing through the timeframe of "Muse." In writing this, I had two main ideas: expand on the biblical allusion and explore a certain reading of Tal Celes. This story is not what I intended it to be, as is so often the case, but after all the time it's been in progress (and in stasis), I think its time has come.
Inefficient, Human Things
The stories in this section trace the development of Seven of Nine and her relationship with Captain Janeway through...little, inefficient, human things. *grin*
Inefficient, Human Things
Post-Endgame. Seven gives the backstory for the opening scene of "The Void," in which she treats the senior staff to a gourmet meal. Lots of love flowing here, folks. I'm considering a series under this title--what do you think?
Inefficient, Human Traditions
A sort of companion piece to "Inefficient, Human Things"--connected by theme. (It had to have some title.) Inspired by and centering around Halloween.
Christopher Robin and the 700,000 Metric Ton Starship
Set within the familiar "the crew indulge Naomi" context, this story was spawned from a random session of deciding which Voyager character correlated with which Winnie-the-Pooh character. (Guess who's the bear with very little brain...)
Kathryn Janeway, Undercover Operative
Mush, love, and sex. Graphic lesbian sex.
The only story here with all three. (Honestly, I'm not sure of the quality of the writing, buut...well, you tell me.)
And one Trekkie in-joke.
The Same Spot, Twice
This is Seven and this is how things are. Post-Endgame.
Meltdown
If you look my way one more time / I'm gonna go out of my mind
Rather an old story, but never before posted.
The Too Loud Silence
In the aftermath, spend a few minutes on an alien planet with Kathryn.
One Discovers Such Things
Someone would like to tell you about her lover . . .
Immutable Laws of Nature
There are certain forces in the universe that even the Borg respect.
After the events of "Imperfection," Seven of Nine reflects on the nature of her captain and on their relationship. Story contains discussion of events in the episodes "Caretaker," "Resolutions," "Tuvix," "Hope and Fear," "Equinox," "Fury," and "Imperfection."
A World Away
Post-Nemesis.
I see you through the smoky air / Can't you feel the weight of my stare
Trying hard to control my heart / I walk over to where you are
This story has experimental chronology. There are two sections (so far). While each is complete in itself, together they (hopefully) become something more.
Drabbles
Dress Whites
Written on three drabbles100 prompts, this 'drabble' is 300 words long. Seven's POV. Set a few days post-"Endgame."
Triangle
Written for drabbles100. KJ's POV. Set between dates two and three . . .
Gaia
New. Written for drabbles100. Janeway is and dreams of.
When the Devil Drives
Almost a prose poem. Needs must when the devil drives.
Errant
Seven. Janeway. Just another drone on a misison.
This Grey Spirit Yearning
Janeway, post-Endgame. "I am become a name."
Picard/Crusher
The Morning After
25x25
I challenged myself to write 25 25-word 'drabbles' at work one day. Three of them are J/7 (or Janeway, from Seven's POV). Eighteen of them describe the Picard/Crusher relationship we saw over the course of seven years of televison and four feature films--with a bit of personal interpretation. The final three are post-Nemesis and are both P/C and J/7. (Yes, math whizes, that's only 24! One 'drabble' was of a personal nature.)
West Wing
One More Thing
A C.J. story. Episode Addition to the first-season "Enemies," during which C.J. works to find the source of the leak about a tiff in a cabinet meeting and Josh struggles to find a way around a land-use rider hung onto a banking bill, while Sam and Toby struggle with a birthday message. Set the following day. Includes some C.J./Danny banter.
