Triangle

She meets Chakotay outside Astrometrics.

These days, she can't tell who his fond looks are for. Is not even sure that any of them are for one of them alone.

Doesn't particularly care.

They flank Seven to examine whatever it is she wanted them to see. She examines Seven instead, catches Chakotay examining her.

Yes—this in answer to the question in his eyes. Yes, I know you are seeing her.

But I have always seen her.

She thinks he would love either of them, that he is poised on the edge, waiting to jump. Wanting a reason to fall.
