Memory Alpha
An archive of stories from classic Star Trek fanzines
Please help us find these authors!
The Reason for this Library
Right up front, let me state the reason this library has been established.  Its purpose is to preserve as many stories from out of print Star Trek fanzines as we possibly can.  These stories go back to the late 1960's, when Star Trek fanzines first began appearing, and continue to this day. The heyday of the ST genzine, however, was the 1970's, when many of these stories were written. Alas, the vast majority of these zines are no longer available, unless you can find a dog-earred copy in a used zine box at a convention.
Many of them were printed by the cheapest method possible, i.e. mimeograph on rag paper.  Unfortunately, they are deteriorating fast, literally rotting away as the paper and ink disintegrates, and we want to make sure that the stories contained in these zines are preserved.

The stories archived in the Memory Alpha library are not for sale and will not be posted on the internet until we obtain permission from the authors to do so.  This is a repository for classic Star Trek stories and may be considered a lending library of sorts.  They are part of my private fanzine collection.

We would love to run these stories on our website but the authors have vanished into the woodwork and haven't yet been located! I am involved in an on-going search to find these authors to gain permission to feature their stories. If you know a way to contact them, please let me know at once!   Meanwhile, if you would like to read any of the stories in the library, please click on my email link below and I'll give you the details. Please put "MEMORY ALPHA" on your subject line.

  Thank you!
